I was late to the party but it was a fun read.

And I still daydream of the day I receive any sort of fanart from Ock. You lucky sunova-

Great to see Bird Mom again even though she never really appeared all that often.
I tend to notice that in almost every TV show I watch, the story will start simple enough, and then it'll balloon to something so large and complicated that it loses the magic that it started out with and built its fanbase upon. Better to end short on a good note and bring the story full-circle than to let it get so big and ride it until you HAVE to end it, because when that happens, it never turns out good, and fans get disappointed.

It's been a fun ride, Tezzle. Thanks for bringing us along!

Just wanted to cap everything off with something akin to an epilogue.

ALSO, Sonic-Ock made me the awesomest piece of Bird Noise fanart ever: http://sparkyevil.deviantart.com/art/Bird-Noise-269663148

He put more effort into that then I put into all 51 pages of this entire comic! FAV IT AND WATCH THIS DUDE! He is legit.

And with that this comic officially goes into "completed" status. It's been a blast, you guys.

I loved Bird Noise all the same. And it's good that it had a good, short run. I have to admit, Frobby did get a bit stale after awhile. But Bird Noise never did, and since it's ended now, I can appreciate it even more knowing that it'll never get stale now.

But really, I do like your comics. I'll be keeping an eye out for anything you do in the future.

Like any good drug, it's best to stop before it goes bad rather than after, even though it's so much harder.

Cheers to Bird Noises everywhere. Slainte to the future. Let us know where you land.

STAY TUNED TOMORROW FOR AN EXTRA THING!
Well, here we are. The end of an era.

This never got nearly as popular as pretty much anything else I've ever done, but I consider it my best work so far. But, and this surprises me, I don't care. This has always been a pet project, but it's something I legitimately loved doing. I would keep going just for that fact, but every part of me is saying 'No. It's over. If you kept going now it would just become something it isn't." And the reason for that is Bird Noise started off as nothing. One could make the argument that it already did change. It has a full cast, a story, and clear plot development. But it all happened pretty naturally, and I could still do the humor I wanted to do with that. If I kept going it would get too plot-heavy. That's just the natural progression of storytelling. The more stuff that happens, the more plot you have. And since I didn't want a lot of plot, I couldn't have a lot of comic.

Other comic strips like Calvin & Hobbes which went on for a lot longer before ending were pretty much the same comic from start to finish, but they also had the luxury of having a simple set up with a lot of potential. One thing I learned throughout my time drawing Bird Noise...birds don't do much. Simple as that. Hence the plot stuff.

All my other ideas in the works are full-page endeavors. So unless I come up with something else in the future, Bird Noise is my last venture into the art of the comic-strip. I really think it has been my first completely successful one. Frobby was flawed art-wise, and the Tezzle & Zeek characters have since become a concept so vastly different I took it off the internet so no one would get confused when it came time to transition...INCIDENTALLY, I thought I had all those T&Z comics saved on my computer before I decided to delete it...Emphasis on THOUGHT...I regret the decision, but oh well.

I hope you enjoyed Bird Noise, and look out for anything else I do in the future! When and what that'll be exactly I'm still not 100% sure.

Thank you.
