Webcomic Profile: Oasis
Description
Roaneas is a lower class young man who secretly studies magic in his Mediterranean island home of Sarkania, a country with a population of magic users where only the upper crust of society is allowed to practice the craft. He's also recently fallen in love with his best friend, Yos. One night, while studying by the light of the moon, he sees a falling star and wishes upon it--"Please let Yos love me in return." A few years later, a scheming angel appears to him with an offer: granting his wish in exchange for his reverence and devotion.

a little late in the day, sure, but here is the first page of chapter two!
unfortunately the next page is going to be delayed as well, this time because my tablet pen needs replacing. it was kinda busted, but at least functional before I decided to try taking it apart in an attempt to fix it. unfortunately the comic is 100% digital, and while I could try a traditional media page, I'd rather stay consistent. so the day of the next update is... unknown, I'm afraid. I will, however, be doing what I can to update the site in ways that don't require drawing until it arrives.

Chapter Two - "Killer Queen"
lots of lady characters being introduced in this chapter! the next page will be on Friday since Tuesday is a liiittle too close for me to get a whole page done. that gives me some time to catch up though. see you then!

wow Kio's expression actually changed a little bit.
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE, your gift is the very end of chapter one!! I'm sorry it took so long! I have a lot of time off coming up very soon and I'm going to try to power through a decent chunk of chapter 2 in that time. but for now, I will have the cover page out asap, no later than Tuesday.
and since it is Valentine's Day, I'd like to give a big thank you to all of my subscribers! I'll do my best to continue to entertain you. c: no guarantees on no more delayed releases in the near future because of this whole moving to Japan thing, but I have absolutely no interest in giving up, so if you'll be patient with me I promise you'll get to see the story unfold!

I received the tablet awhile ago, I was only without one and unable to work on the comic for about a week. but I got caught up in relaxing and taking care of some things for moving to Japan within and after that time so no work has been done on the comic. unfortunately it's going to continue to be that way for awhile, except I MIGHT get one more page done before I leave. I honestly haven't drawn at all in a few weeks now and I'm getting antsy about doing some... but it's also getting to be crunch time for moving since I leave the 22nd. so basically Oasis is on hiatus right now, though again you might see one more page (or some of those site updates I mentioned and didn't do) before I go.
I'm very sorry for making you all wait. once I get settled into life in Japan I DEFINITELY want to continue working on Oasis everyday. once I get there I don't know when I'll have a steady internet connection available in my apartment, but as long as I have a plug for my laptop I can at least get the pages done. basically if you don't hear from me for quite awhile, don't be alarmed. I will be back! and will try to post updates even if I can't upload pages.
