Renew
v. 1. To take up again; resume. 2. To regain or restore the physical or mental vigor of; revive. 3. Reestablish.

Vito's a lazy artist, yes. This is almost an exact copy of page 6 or so. But with minor changes.

It's his daily routine, but now it's been renewed. He's wearing a Recycle shirt to represent that. His newfound respect from his peers has given him previously absent confidence.

Shift
v. To replace by or exchange for another.

I accidentally uploaded this to Chelsea and Kitty at first. LUCKILY I CAUGHT IT! Sorry for 2 week delay. I'm in the middle of moving from one place to another right now, which meant no tablet/photoshop for a little bit.

Acceptance
This is a big page, even if it looks exactly like the previous one. This is Tier 3 of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. Friendship/Belonging. Which is a good thing, right?

Prevail
Prevail: v. To gain ascendancy through strength or superiority

David prevailed against Goliath, Darth Vader prevailed against the Emperor, Indiana Jones prevailed against the Nazis. The hero usually prevails against the antagonist in any story. Unfortunately for our hero, his story is far from over, and the prevailing will have to bleed into other aspects of his life than a simple bully.

Ostracization.
Let me break this word down for you, it's rather big.

Ostracization V.
"The Act of excluding, by general consent, from society, friendship, conversation, privileges, etc."

Some people try to bully others by getting the majority of their peers on their side and making a person look bad or feel out of place to the point where everyone avoids and/or makes fun of them. They Ostracize them from their peers.

There's a lot of weird messages in this page. Why is that American flag there? Why is that one kid dressed up like Michael Jordan? Technically, by my art style, all of my characters have "Chicken Legs."

@Amante: :D Thanks Amante! It's hard. If I did this in a traditional comic format I don't think it'd work at all. The black outline around all of the pages is supposed to kind of give it a snapshot sort of feel. I don't know if it's overly obvious or not...

I'm happy to hear that I'm doing a goo job of portraying the feeling I'm going for though! Melancholy is definitely one of the things I want it to feel.
