"sUb-terran" is now up and running if you want to continue. Haven't got the hang of 'links' yet but it shouldn't be hard to find. Try clicking on my user name; all comics should be listed there.

@Kiela: Thank you. It's comments like yours that will keep me coming back (eventually). Kat? I think you're confusing Tailor (Katherine) with Soldier (Angela). And if it were a movie, I'd definitely go see it; they might even let me in for free.

This by far has one of the best story lines and character development that I've seen. It's kept me interested and "on the edge of my seat" the entire time. I actually liked the changing art style because even though you were experimenting, and sometimes I was like wut, only line art?, it seemed much more expressive for the overall story. Especially with the animated parts as I've never seen that before. Thinking of making a movie? Eh eh?
But it's the end and I WANT MOAR D: All the questions! None are answered! So very mean. How do the people in the halo receive soldier? I want to laugh as she makes even more people uncomfortable. Oh and is she called Kat for short? Anyway, take your break but pleaseeee eventually make sub-terran.

"All are welcome on the Path of Enlightenment. All will be revealed at Journey's End."
- except what the Union is really up to; and the mystery of the Worms (Katherine hinted at it); and where are the other Trans-Humans (Soldier has daughters and presumably grand-daughters and aunts and sisters and cousins and nieces ...). And what about
"Slow-Boat", the first, forgotten probe sent to Alpha-Centauri? It's first transmission will arrive in less than two years. And what is this "plan to make everything better"?
And what kind of suicidal masochist would marry Soldier?
Clearly, we are not at Journey's End. I'm going to take a break but if some day you should see a comic called "sUb-terran", you might want to take a look.

... and that is how Soldier got into the Subs . Now the story can begin.
Actually, I almost gave up on it after Chapter 3. I was burned-out. But I got some nice comments and, after a rest, dove back in. And the characters were in my head ( I can actually HEAR Tara's staccato laugh, like a cute pink machine-gun).
The most common criticism was that the art was "uneven" ( a nice way of saying "sometimes it sucks"). Of course I was experimenting but there's also this to consider:
OVER 500 PAGES IN ONE YEAR! The story would have seriously suffered if I had a one-page-per-week schedule. It was more about the story than the art.

Soldier tells another story. This one isn't quite as evocative or detailed as the first one.

@biffboff: I think you're doing fine. You draw muscles waaaay better than I do. All my people are super skinny... I really need to fix that .__.

soldier was never meant to be a typical Double D busty comic book woman. But here's the thing : she had to be large and muscular AND feminine and attractive AND under-weight and malnourished AND drawn consistently and quickly. Almost 500 pages later, I still haven't got it down.

Sorry for the delay. Computer problems. Hope you don't mind the line art. No? Good. Let's see if we can finish up by the end of the week.

The King quotes Captain Ahab's classic revenge line from Melville's "Moby Dick"; classic but Not Shakespeare, whom Soldier quotes from "Henry VI" (complete with "Dick" reference). Queen takes King; check and mate.

Soldier wins...

@kaiser: thank you. Glad you found it.Updates are frequent and erratic (none of this "one page per week" nonsense).
