Want to hear something silly. The winner of the recent doodle for google is being accused of plagiarism, or at least shenanigans, because her artwork has the same theme as somebody else's.

Y'know, something that bothers me about Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 is that, despite the expanded Unova Pokedex, the Elite Four have the exact same initial teams from the previous games, with the exception of Shauntal, who has exactly ONE different Pokemon. And their post-National Pokedex teams have barely changed either.
Another thing that bugs me goes across both Gen V games: The Pidove line. The Pidove line has pretty good Attack, and pretty bad Special Attack. So naturally, Game Freak gave it a moveset that was made up almost entirely of Special moves. Face freaking palm. The worst part about it is that, unlike a lot of other Pokemon who got revised movesets between Black and White and Black 2 and White 2, Pidove's moveset didn't change at all. But then again, this is the same developer who refuses to give Flareon any decent physical Fire-type moves, like, I dunno, FLARE BLITZ.

Researching is the most labourus and time consuming part of creation. I'm still trying to track down information on Crossgen educational materials.
Having studied the the fundamentals of game design, and the history of video games, oral history, and the psychoanalysis of film while in college, you can understand my interest in the works of doctor Richard Gardener.
I want to make an educational comic with beneficial (not to mention therapeutic) role play elements... it would be something created along similar lines as "Spice and Wolf" or the cherokee language.
I'm not sure which at this time.
I have recently been studying the art of dodging questions and projecting calm assertive energy. I discovered the "Lexicon of Comicana" just yesterday and I might look into it when I finally get around to reading jung's book of common symbolism in dreams. I have also been reading up on art therapy.
And, I have that magical crisis thinking that everything is going to work out for the best as long as I continue studying. As opposed to looking for financial freedom which may or may not be a pipe dream at this point.

I didn't know that. I don't really hang out on DA unless I'm collecting reference material. And, I know how to use it properly so I don't actually copy anything without making it blatantly obvious who the source is.
Then again, transformation sequences are so formalized now that most of my attempts at such have looked awkwardly similar to the work of others. Even when I tried for something completely original it wound up looking similar to something else.
