Precious Metal

What started as a 24-Hour-Comics-Day endeavor was cleaned up, and then the second issue happened and that was cool, too. New installments will follow in this story of precious metals, magic, and secrets.

I would love to see this comic continued. It's fun to read, beautifully drawn, and exciting, all in all.
Hey where is Brainstorm? I can't find it and I'll die if I can't see more of your comic work while I wait on Hubie!
I just...lol! Ohmygolly I love this!

Hoping for more!
@mfisherart: I love reading this and see great potential in the story! It's sad I only get a page by page update, but I await more with excitement!

@doge91: Yeah! That's one of the things I've really had to think hard about--what can comics do that is unique to them--and that's one of the huge things!

"Mawzipan, how'd you get so smawt?"

@mfisherart: Nice use of color in the last panel. Really helps the reader know what's going on and makes it clear who's on which side.

Also, I just realized that far-away panels like this are awesome for showing a bunch of things happening at once (including dialogue) in a way that film can't. Cool.

It's Baaaaaaaaaaaack.
*yaaaaaaaaaaay*
Man, when's something gonna go wrong in this comic? The heroes have to suffer somewhere!
Gun? Did he say GUN? I like trains.
Finally! They used the Speech Bubble Tandem Extension! I love that power!
Suddenly artistic license becomes more than a visual convenience. Now it's also a PLOT convenience. Well played.
Train: "Gah! My face!"
The train's hurt! Imma' PUNCH IT!
He's just a kindly old archetypical mentoOOHH GOSH
My shoe is untied! Woe is me!
Despite her obvious lack of a nose, Sister has a great sense of smell. Volde-must-not-be-named or whoever is VERRRRRRY jealous.
Callin' it. She's from da future. Only that'd be enough for me'da abuse contractions.
"You look hungry. Can I get you some coins?" "Hold on, I get the coins and YOU eat them. There's a slice of medieval pizza at home with my name on it!"
"You might want to stand back." "I can't! I glued my hands to the bars! Looking back I really don't see how that would help but hey, it was a great plan! I swear!"
