by aniseshaw
All of these stories are by kids taking comic making classes in the Vancouver area. The artists range from 6-12 years old.

All classes are taught by Anise Shaw in the Burnaby Community Arts Program or at the Richmond Arts Centre. Anise makes her own comic called Even in Arcadia. You can read it at eveninarcadia.com

These are all really cute.
I'm teaching a similar class starting next week to an older age group. These comics are certainly making me excited to see what my students will produce.

Thank you for sharing these. It's great to see students making stories.
Ahh!
This is such a cool idea! I wish when I was little, there was a program like this ^^

Oh my goodness. That was the best ending EVER! way to go Vanessa!
@Vixenkiba: I will! I love the positive feedback for my students, anything to encourage them to keep drawing :D
This is just awesome to read! It's always so interesting what children ages 6-12 can create and to compare it with the stories you made at that age <3 Please tell them they all did a great job on this! ;)
@Sophi0900: Thanks! My students work really hard to make their comics. They're young, but they come up with the most amazing concepts sometimes. Especially the silent comics.
I love this!
