This is the story of a she-fox called Smoke. She has been abandoned by her mother and is struggling to survive. She lives on mere berries and pieces of loose bark that she manages to claw off. Her life is a mess and a disaster waiting to happen, but, with the help of the Skulk of Frozen Shadows, she may be able to piece her life back together. But evil lurks within the strange, ominous Skulk of Poisoned Waves, threatening to tear apart the lifelong friendships that have held the Skulk of Frozen Shadows together for generations. But will it be enough to destroy the battle-hungry foxes that are willing to spill the crimson blood of even their own kind? Or will the Skulk of Frozen Shadows cease to exist?
