Sigrun's Nuzlocke Challenge

by Glueckskeks
I've started another Nuzlocke comic since the old one became so important to me that I want to put some effort into it, which I am too lazy for. I'll go back to it eventually, but for now, I'll try to finish this one. It's Sapphire version. It's really sketchy, and I apologize if there's something you can't read. I've got a bad handwriting and the scanner doesn't really help.

Sigrun sets out on a Pokemon Journey in Hoenn in the hopes of eventually making enough money to afford a good university education. Together with her Mudkip James and other teammates, will she succeed eventually? And can she form proper bonds with her Pokemon, despite her being focused on other goals such as making money?

Okay, don't know if I should critique, and on the first page, but I have trouble reading the text. Maybe type out everything? Art is good for the style you are drawing in, but it's too light at tue lines. I don't know if you've changed this on later pages, so sorry if so.
Oh and I heard ya leik mudkipz. Ya know what? I do too XD

@Glueckskeks:
Why do you have that passing through a route three times thing ma'am? Any specific reason?
But ah, a Notepad (or whatever it's called, the only keep the six on team) haven't seen too many of these, at least comicked. Good luck ma'am!

I decided to change the hairstyle since I wasn't really happy with the last one. Then I caught another Wurmple and nothing else that was really interesting happened. I encountered another Zigzagoon in Petalburg forest, but didn't catch that one.

I actually caught that Zigzagoon as a backup, but boxed it sometime later to make room. Named it Matthew.

I was a little bit disappointed Brunhild evolved to a Silcoon, since I love Dustox very much. But Beautifly are cool was well, so it was fine.

So James ended up being hit by a critical tackle by a Zigzagoon around three levels below him. It took about half of his HP, which was enough to worry me, since all my other Pokemon were a lot weaker than him.
And I have somehow forgot to mention the Zigzagoon's name is Gabriel.

Well, I'm back. Yay for inconsistent update schedules.

Since I have the hobby of starting things right before something that makes me stop for a while, I'll be gone on vacation for the next ten days, in which there'll be no updates. Which is why this one is early. (I say early despite having no set update schedule...)

I love the Wurmple line, so I was happy to catch one. Brunhild is the name of a Valkyrie. Granted, it's only one in Wagner's version and there it's actually Brunhilde, but it's still a nice name.

I always pick Mudkip, no matter what. I can't help myself on that one, I just love them too much. I couldn't bring it over me to just leave the little guy with Prof. Birch.

@Godo-kun
Yes, I've been trying to fix this and at least the text is getting more readable. I'll probably go back to the older pages and fix this at one point, but I don't know when. Thanks for reading!

This is the first Nuzlocke challenge where I put some rules aside from the standard ones, aside from a Moemon forever run that I stopped five minutes in, since I had too many runs going already, that I all want to draw out at one point. There's my firered that I aleady started, one Ruby, one Moemon eternal ver.2 and a Gold run. (I doubt I'll ever be able to do that, so a small tribute may have to suffice in some cases)

Rules:

Only catch one Pokemon per area
Fainted equals dead
no use of storage system, so only six living Pokemon can be owned at once. However, you may permanently box a Pokemon to make room. Areas that are passed with a full team can be revisited later to make a catch.
Once a "wild" area is entered, you may only turn back twice and must pass through on the third try. (Unless it's a dead end or something similar) You may go back to previous areas from towns freely.

@Godo-kun
The idea behind the rule was "Don't take to long to do things", since I usually take a long time to play the game and always stay on the safe side. I wanted to make this more interesting and someone once made a rule that he always had to get through on the first try. (That seemed a bit too difficult for me, for example when you think of victory road) Basically, it's to make things more challenging.

Same goes for the Notepad rule. Thank you!
