In a world where war is knocking at the door, young aviator Josef Hanzen, member of the Neumarkt's force army, spends some time talking with his friend, Ernst Von Mortenberg, ex politician of Germany, until unexpectedly, a mysterious loyal dog appears at the military base.
With the feeling of melancholy and duty, the base is attacked without warning by a raid of Russian planes, testing everyone's will.
Left alone, Ernst is deported to the hospital situated in Sighişoara and swears to revenge the deaths of his friends from Neumarkt.
The first volume of "Dies ist Krieg" project brings other characters from different cultures and eras, they are challenged by the conflict between war and peace; it describes true loyalty, humans betrayal and the responsibility that brings the most unforeseen things.
