Well, that's interesting. Also, can't fault Nightmare for his reactions.

@PossumFlavored: Haha, I personally love this page and the determination look on Arion's face too. I put him in the chapter cover because it's the chapter I introduced him. :)

I dont even know whats going on with this, but i love it. The ponies are so good. Right at that line where you can take them seriously, but I also crack up laughing if I think about it. Probably doesnt help that I live on a ranch.

@dracone: Thank you for your comment! I think I've seen this phrase somewhere too but I'm not too certain. xD
I will change their conversation but won't replace it on this site. People on the other sites will see the new version though. ( smackjeeves is the only site with most recent page of this comic. :D ).

@GabrielsThoughts: Wow! Thank you so much for the explanation! I'm sure it took some times to write these and I really appreciate it. :) As I said, English is not my native language but I'm willing to improve. I wish I can write fluent comics like people did for the movies. Those people are so talented.

I will fix the conversation as per your explanation but I won't replace it here since I think our comments here will be erased too. But there're some other sites that I upload this comic not as recent as here, so the readers there will see the fixed version of this page. ;)

Thanks again for your help!!
@hitokaji:
What's written is understandable with patience. It does stop the flow of the conversation somewhat. When I hear companies I think corporations, not the singular company of associates or a group formation like media representations of outbreak company or easy company. When I hear the word companions I think of like minded individuals connected by common interest or immediate goals who band together to complete a task for personal reasons. The word companions also makes me think of a campaign.

I think the 'tense' diction of chronological organization is what makes it odd as well. Did he predict or foresee a certain outcome? if so then it can be improved a little bit in my opinion.

Yessss... I knew you'd bring [some*] company. (or companions the [*]can be omitted or kept without loosing overall meaning :-)

"As did I..." seems awkward to me but it still works as a follow up statement "But I prepared." and "So did I" would work if you replace the "I know/knew" with "I see" or "it seems." The latter covers two modes of empathic understanding of both tactile and visual information, whereas the former "I see" seems more ominous, cold, patronizing, or predatory than simply knowing. In my humble opinion it probably comes from centuries of conditioning to connect fate, fury, sentience or the soul with the eye.

I appreciate your interest in my opinions and thank you for the swift response.

@GabrielsThoughts: The term brought some companies is a military term, from what I remember hearing about in this sort of context, it means you brought more than one group of troops. And I'm pretty sure Nightmare meant to say "so did I"
