Theeee End. I'd really love to know what you thought of my attempt at adapting Shakespeare. Do let me know and thanks for checking out Antony and Cleopatra! Coming shortly: design sketches and drawings!

SO. MUCH. HATCHING. It turned out great though. This is the last comic page, but there's one more illustration to go to complete the story. Look forward to it tomorrow! I'll also post some of the behind the scenes development drawings and such with it.

I loved Caesar's design, unfortunately I didn't get to draw him often enough. Still, he looks cool here~

I always found Cleopatra's last words odd. As though Antony or someone is telling her to stay alive in that last moment, but it's too late. Besides, she's been going on about dying for a good few pages, she's not going back on it now!

Really happy with this page. The glass pyramid windows backdrop, the smokey asp and those blinking eyes... yup. This was a cool page.

Heehee, I love drawing Scooby Doo esque gangs-peeking-around-a-doorway type scenes XD

You can probably tell, I had way too much fun emphasising the joke Iras is making in that bottom panel.

This is one of my favourite pages, drawing people throwing tantrums is such fun. Oh Charmian. Your bedsheets have ears with which to hear all your wishes, silly!

Welcome to Part 2! I hope you all enjoyed Part 1.

Also hello to anyone who I met this past weekend! I had a fantastic expo, it was a really brilliant event.

@Sailormoon1997: Aw shush U///U Thank you very much! I had hoped I might get to do a full version but the timing was bad for it - the Manga Shakespeare series was stopped around that year >_< You never know though, I might find another publisher interested in classic adaptations!
@Lashana: Oh gosh, thank you so much! :D I have lots of other comics and art you can look at if you're interested ^^ Just click on my profile image!

Fyi: Octavia is Antony's future wife. I.e. Someone intended to drag him away from Cleopatra.

And that's the end of Part 1. I'll be at the London MCM Expo Comic Con this weekend (25th & 26th May) selling Cafe Suada and other comics/prints so if you're in the area come along!

I'll begin releasing Part 2 next week.

Quite amazing (and creepy) to hear what a conundrum Cleo presents to her lovers. Satisfying yet unsatisfying. Hm.

To translate Cleo's statement:
I'M AWESOME, EVERYBODY ELSE GO HOME

Oh Cleo, you TEASE~

That moment when you fall in love with a scent.

Fun fact: I kept forgetting to ink Antony's gloves and had to quickly do corrections before the comic was assessed. Herp.

Liquid, from flowing wine to rough seas, is always fun to draw.
