First of all, thanks to all of you for your opinions on the news post. I never commented back at all, but I did read everything that was said, and it did help in weighing my options.

After much thought on the matter, I've decided the best move with this comic would be to put it on the shelf for now. I did start on the next page, using a simpler art style, but it's just not working out for me. I'll be moving on to something else as far as a drawn comic for now in order to get more experience with this sort of thing.

I hope to eventually come back to this project, but for now, it's on indefinite hiatus.

I'll be giving updates about the upcoming project over at my Art Gallery, and also on my Art blog on Tumblr.

I'd like to clarify, this comic is not cancelled. Not yet. As I said, I do still want to come back to it, it's just ahead of my current artistic capabilities to draw the art the way I think it should look.

@Luigi_96: Delays are usually okay in drawn Kirby comics as that's what usually happens *insert reference to Unity here*.

I honestly don't care about the visuals unless it's absolutely crappy; it's the plot I usually care about. Fav+.

Read the stone Meta, it says: DON'T TOUCH IT OR ELSE POP STAR WILL BURN!

Well, I told you guys to expect delays.

Also, the semi-crappy drawing on Meta Knight in this page (do not look too hard at that cape in the last panel >.>) is overshadowed by both the shading and the fact that the backgrounds are, in my opinion, very nice-looking!

And yes, even though the current banner was not drawn by me, I still used a lot of elements from the Red Diamond's altar design here. That glowyness~

And blah proportions are wonky in this page. >.>

EDIT: I just realized I forgot to link to the original version of this page.
Check it out here.

Your artstyle is really nice and I can imagine it must take a lot of effort using (and getting used to) a digital program when making any sort of comic.
Just take your time and don't stress yourself out. Going at your own comfortable pace is it's own reward. :) We'll all still be here.

MY GOSH GUYS IT'S FINALLY DONE!!

I had this page sketched out in... Late September, I believe, but it took this long to get up the motivation to actually finish it.
All this delay is mostly due to the fact that I switched from Sketchbook Express to Photoshop Elements for art, and once I made that switch, I lost my comics method and had to figure out a new one for the new program.
Naturally, once I did (mostly thanks to an art request I got that forced me to use this art style), I started in on finishing it up.
I started this page on Sunday night (the 7th), and it took several hours of work to speed up my system and get panels done faster.
And that's not even talking about the thoughts I had about just quietly killing this comic, but I'm not going to say anything else about that because this page alone has given me a lot of renewed motivation for this project.
Heck, compare the art in this page to the art in the previous. It was all worth it.
And my good friend PurpleChickenPineapple has also been helping a lot with the motivating.

Anyways, regarding the page itself...
It seems Meta's gonna have to go it alone after all. Hopefully nothing terrible happens! =D
Also, slightly bland backgrounds are a go. Gonna have to work on that.

Take a look at the old version of this page here... going from this version to that version blows my mind.

And, to the topic of future updates, I would definitely like to say I'll start updating every Wednesday, but considering the amount of work and time I have to put into every page, and with something in my real life coming up (more on that later, likely), plus my other comic here, and my art gallery... I've got a lot going against that update schedule. But we'll see.

Okay, now that the slightly long author comment is over, I'm signing out! Ciao!
