@portisHeart: I've lived in my house for over ten years and we've finally started decorating a bit now, haha! It took so long. But I'm finally feeling some connection to rooms as individual things again ^_^

@Ralend: I know exactly what you mean! ^_^ At the age these guys are, having that first taste of independence, even if it's just your own room in the family house, is a huge deal!

@chaos-of-vinnie: Exactly! They say a lot about someone. :)
Ian is having an internal meltdown, yeah, lol! Though what great wallpaper that would be!

@portisHeart: You're never alone with cats :) We share our little house with a cat too. Such great company ^_^

@Ralend: I know, right? It's a weird memory to evoke. That sense of personal space in a communal house :)

@Ralend: if it matters to you (which it seems not to, really, but..) - what about decorating every room in a special way?
on the other hand, if they're all so exchangeable.. you can bunk in your bathtub, has its perks too ;)
putting other humans in rooms seems - to some people, not me - to make rooms attractive too i reckon. *shrug*

@portisHeart: Well, less of a room and more of a house. Its not to lesson how much I love my home, but it was different when I was young and living at home. I was really possessive about 'my room.' It kinda was a sanctuary. I guess that's universal. Now-a-days, there isn't one single room in my home I am particularly attached to. Kitchen, bath, living room, bedroom, spare bedroom, they're pretty much all the same.

I love going into people's bedrooms!! They are like a representation of the person living in them. I get real sad when its plain ones and not one poster D'X

So is Ian having an 'in my room meltdown' or does he have wallpaper that says that? XD
I have had the bedroom meltdown, mostly being in boys rooms because I know that more often than not its going to lead to a scenario that I'm gonna feel uncomfortable and have to worm my way out of DX

I couldn't picture Ian's house being any different!
They're both siblings that say they had loving parenting... From the mum at least not sure what Mr.Tanner is in jail for XDD

@Ralend: eeehh.. homeless? married/in a live-in relationship? living in a chaotic commune? traveling in a van? housing in a tree?...
sorry for being bold and asking, your comment made me wonder. ^^

btw, since i ask personal - i can give some too: i DO have a room, a big one (and a few others). but i'm never alone - i share it with a big bunch of cats (winter, they're all in cuz they're too smart to freeze their asses outside, and instead of all shelves, window sill and their double bed, half love to pile on my bed, preferably on my legs). and this dump is a crumbling cold-ish piece of shit, too. but i "have a room". XD
