Sparks halls of sprites and Drawings

Well now, isn't this odd?

After a good few years of being truly absent on SJ, I've finally decided to reboot my old sprite showcase.

My style has changed somewhat significantly since I was last here, but I hope you like the sprites all the same.

I realised I haven't uploaded anything here recently, which is a shame since I've done a fair few things... expect me to upload a few as and when over the next few days!

Did a sprite-stream recently, here are some of the results.

I need to work on the shading for the kraken girls head and robe bottoms, as well as the arm on spark, but over all I'm happy with how they came out!
Right, update on shading + brief look at possible uses for his sand powers. Gonna work a little bit on the legs themselves, considering they're bloated looking, but otherwise I'm quite happy with how it's turned out.

Ignore the red-haired girl, she's just there as a point of reference for the sand arm things.

On a second look, I should probably make the legs a tad longer. They look very short in comparison to the rest of him.

Also I'm working on the banner stuff as I type, so I might actually have one of those soon, which would be great
Try to keep in mind the light source. Also remember that limbs aren't perfectly straight. They have curves and bend. Doing this in the right way makes it less ridged and more natural.
pfffft, thats adorable
Shading is, and always has been, one of my biggest problems. I just... can not get my head around it. I can shade faces in just fine, but things like hands boggle me to no end.

I've also decided I'll probably make the shoulder piece a SINGLE, whole thing instead of this horribly tattered version.

I'm still working on the shading, but any advice and C+C would be much appreciated for whats currently done.
If I may-

Right, I'm working on a redesign for Spark, considering his old design actually broke his own lore.

Issue is, I don't know which quill/hair design is better! Any help would be appreciated
Ok, SO! Many of you these days probably don't know me, right?

Hell, many of you who were around when I arrived and left SJ probably don't know me.

ANYWAY, I'm Miles, also known as sparktheboar, sparkth, etc. I use to be one of the more unknown spriters here on SJ, and I made the occasional attempt at a webcomic. I left SJ for a number of reasons, but nowdays those reasons are less worrisome, so I've decided to start migrating back, mainly through the usage of a sprite showcase! ....again!

I'll be uploading a banner soon, just working on some stuff for it.

ANYWAY, here are a few of the Lich characters I've been working on recently. Already, some a due for an update, and the ice giant isn't being worked on outside of the streams I do, as they provide plenty of motivation to do so. C+C is always welcome, as long as it's useful!
