I sent Dani this email in January,:
"Dani-- I hope thing s are going well with you and that you will be
able to restart Penny Copper sometime soon. I know it will soon be 4
years since you left it, but it did have a lot of promise. The art is
great, and we just got started in the story. A restart may be slow,
after all this time, but it looks like you had a story to tell. It
still needs telling. don't spend too much time anguishing over
whether this page is just like you want it, or it needs tweaking. You
can spend so much time second guessing yourself that you never
accomplish anything. I've seen this happen with a lot of comics. We
won't know whether you originally thought the character's hair should
have been parted on the other side, or such.

Even if you have lost your muse, I still wish you well."

She replied:
"Thank you so much for writing.

Penny hasn't been put on the shelf permanently. I have big plans for her in 2011."

Thus, Friends, hang in there, Penny is coming back!!

I loved this comic so much, read it from the first couple of pages.. and now it seems to have been stalled for a couple of months.

Not ungrateful in the least, I just wonder if something's up, if Penny will continue to make us laugh and love her with her bumbling yet beautiful exploits. So, any news on the home front? I just need my Penny fix, badly. :(
