...touche Shadow, touche.
Credit for the backgrounds goes to Daisy of the Wolves.
"Infuse your life with action. Don't wait for it to happen. Make it happen. Make your own future. Make your own hope. Make your own love."

- Bradley Whitford
Eve Shadow can't resist the pleas of a six year old child.
Fun fact! The script for this comic was the very first thing I wrote for the story all the way back in 2014. I didn't realize it would end up being a 28 panel monstrosity at the time.
“Stay afraid, but do it anyway. What’s important is the action. You don’t have to wait to be confident. Just do it and eventually the confidence will follow.”

- Carrie Fisher (Rest In Peace)
"It's a wonderful thing to be optimistic. It keeps you healthy and it keeps you resilient."

- Daniel Kahneman
“Nurture your mind with great thoughts. To believe in the heroic makes heroes.”

– Benjamin Disraeli
"Nothing worth having comes without a fight. Got to kick at the darkness until it bleeds daylight."

-Bruce Cockburn
So basically this a technique I invented to give Shadow more versatility, which was kind of being stymied by him only having 2 attacking moves. The Chaos Wave is a move where the user takes a bunch of chaos energy and disperses it across a wide range. Depending on how much energy the users spends and how far they spread it, it can be strong enough to rip apart molecular bonds (though they'd need at least a couple chaos emeralds to reach this point) or weak enough that someone caught in it would feel like they're in intense sunlight.
"You are Braver than you believe, Stronger than you seem, Smarter than you think, and Loved more then you'll ever know"

- A.A. Milne

We can make it through this. Don't give up.
It's kind of weird to think that Path of Anguish was just about finished by this point in it's run. I wasn't even planning a sequel when I made it. Time flies I guess.

Anyways, Learn to Live's epilogue starts next week, it's going to be epic.

Just kidding.
What do you mean he's used the Arm Machine before? Lies and slander I say! LIES AND SLANDER!
Oh now Shadow has more of a reason to fight. Bad move Eggman.
Looks like Shadow may have to resort to physical combat.
Hey look, it's Cream! I knew I put her on the cover page for a reason.
Of course, we all know that Robotnik is really only worried about blowing through their new special effects budget too soon.
I am very relieved I didn't have to split this one up.
and so the adventure begins...
Unless I'm mistaken, I see that Shadow now has consistent colors. Thanks for taking my advice, the pages look much nicer now!
