Dancing on Embers

‘Dancing on Embers’ follows the story of Giuseppe (Beppe) Bartelemucci and his family through their world of chaos in Piedmont, Italy during early WWII. Since the arrival of Coyote, a rugged freedom fighter with a mysterious past, the family's mission of building a resistance has proven more complicated with the dangerous temptations of self-discovery. Not to mention the enemy always lurking behind every corner and the challenges of being only a small town in the middle of a military hot-spot. To bring freedom to Neive, the Bartelemuccis will face obstacles out of their darkest nightmares, and the price may even cost them their very lives.

@Antaresia:

Comprendre? "

Aaah! Beppe, coyote is being an ass with you, see? He's even smoking a cig. after what he just told you.
But maybe he's right too...
Anyway, I'm just so so so glad that you are continuing your comic.
The quality is definitely there.
The research you must have do on the ww2 to build the story, I just love how you manage to draw facials expression,sentiments,

:o
@Antaresia: beppe's brother has just died and coyote is explaining to beppe that he needs to suck it up if he doesnt want his family to become more hurt, and beppe is obviously very hurt by this statement and begins to cry, as shown in the last panel.

He's basically telling him he should toughen up emotionally to be able to handle the situation they're going to be in, where a lot of people are going to die. Which for someone who just lost his brother, being told to "get over it" won't help with the process of grieving. I'm sure this scene will eventually lead to them getting closer together. :3

Those crying eyes... I think those rough words will make Beppe staying away from Coyote for a while, but he's speaking the hard truth. In those years, unfortunately, losing someone you love was pretty common because of the wars... I understand what Coyote is trying to do with Beppe. It will be hard, but he will have to accept it: no one comes back from death
