In 2017, the crew of the starship Odysseus were put into cryosleep for their long, important, vital mission; to discover alien life, off Earth.

Three years after that, Earth made first contact.

Now: Earth is destroyed, with the crew of the Odysseus thrown into an indifferent and bizarre universe with only two of the only surviving humans and a group of friendly aliens for company. Can they find joy in a world without Earth? Can they find a new home?

I'm just going to post my comment for the new page here, even though it hasn't been uploaded here yet: I feel like the astronauts survived by accident and chance too, just in a way that left them less exposed to the current state of affairs.

(I went to the tumblr site, just in case it was there).

Guess he didn't like Kay either. (Probably a good thing, given how he treats the people he "likes").

At least Sam doesn't have to put up with this asshole by herself, even if Kay is justifiably outraged by the genetic supremacy (guessing on the terminology here, is there a different term for it?).

Ouch. I know she has no way of knowing that is a fresh wound, because to most people it's been years, but it is still kinda new for the NASA crew.
