Beanstalked

Beanstalked

by PockyBloo
"Happily ever after" is becoming a rare phrase in the land of fairytales as more and more endings are disappearing and being reworked. Everyone is lost and only a grand knight with a sword of light can save them all...

However no one has time to wait for him so the fairytales themselves take it into their own hands to fight for their right to have a happy ending.

-WARNING-
This comic contains foul language (mostly on Pinokuni's part), blood, and violence.

Seeing Mulan on this page reminds me: Has anyone else who reads this comic seen the trailer for Disney's upcoming 2020 live-action remake of "Mulan" that came out on YouTube today?

@Alex Neeley: Oh no, he's just a big grumpy giant.
So in this version the Giant from "Jack and the Beanstalk" is also the Puppeteer from "Pinocchio".

Some fairy tales not getting happy endings, I recall that some of the original fairy tales were rather dark before they were made to be more kid-friendly.

The only giant that his father couldn't defeat, sounds like it's part of his son's destiny to defeat that giant.

Yuki, as in the japanese name for snow? Fitting substitute name for Snow White.

Might make you a giant target for thieves, though.

Wouldn't a solid gold coin that size weigh like 300+ pounds (as gold is very dense)? He'll probably need help (such as from the fairy, for example) getting it down if the gold is of realistic weight unless he has super strength or something.

Oh, Little Red Riding Hood. 💞
-There's the monster.
-What, behind the rabbit?
-It *is* the rabbit. Really! He's got huge, sharp-- eh, he can leap about-- look at the bones!
