"I don't trust him."

Considering that Charlie is hitting all the marks of a stalker, after having made her miserable in school, that is understandable.

Oh, there was progress. You sent several trains hurtling directly toward each other, SOMEHOW, but they mostly found ways to reroute, SOMEHOW and this is the aftermath of what could have killed hundreds. YOU GOT OFF LUCKY.

God, just let the poor introvert go home already. She came, she saw, she decided that she didn't want to bother conquering, because the territories offered her are of no worth to her. Let her go.

"You have on multiple occasions caused me concern for life and limb, particularly in my formative years when such actions would affect me for the rest of my life, and keep popping up in places where you have no business being, and that's far creepier than you seem to think."

It's about time. She's protested this farce since the beginning; at some point, her supposed 'friends' have to stop manipulating her into situations which are harmful to her, and she should have stopped interacting with THIS toxic individual- and all his sucky acquaintences- long ago. Yes, I realize that he hasn't been harming her intentionally, but damage is damage whether intended or not, and everything he's done has only served to upset her more. A dramatic romance is not worth trauma and abuse, a night out is not worth it if it puts you into danger, and if your friends repeatedly blackmail you emotionally into giving toxic people the time of day, then you probably ought to either get new friends or realize that being introverted might just be who and how you are. Since nobody here seems to actually have her best interests in mind, it's up to her to take control of the situation, and I think starting here, with the individual who has caused her long-lasting mental trauma- remember the closet? A claustrophobic child could be scarred for life, and she didn't seem happy about it- is a good move.

That's a good mom. I mean, yea, we're supposed to be sympathetic to the main character, but a parents priorities should be to their child's well-being.
