A Letter for Eko

It is the third era, year 1407. After a decades long war with the Grelkahn sand snakes, the Blackwing have only just begun to recover. With industry restarting all across their final remaining city, couriers are in high demand, and Eko could dream of no greater calling. However, for Eko, the challenge may prove impossible.

This is amazing. It's so unique and beautiful, simple yet complex. Vague enough to be incredibly intriguing but in no way confusing. It reminds me of the MYST series (novels) and a bit like Dune, but I never read Dune sooo maybe not.

Initially I was gonna crack a bad joke about this reminding me of a different comic, but this is really interesting so far and I don't want to taint it with relation to that comic

On colors
Howdy Knox! I'm mysterymeat, a pixel artist. I can echo your color woes and have a few tips I picked up to combat my color blindness and (thankfully former) monitor issues.

First up: try to keep different shades a minimum of ten digits in hue or saturation for them to be clear. More is usually better, but I often work in increments of five from there.

Moreover, if you're using aseprite (and if you're not, you SHOULD) take advantage of it's colorwheel options! It'll give you complementary colors, triadic palletes, and all kinds of other good stuff!

ALSO also, send me a proper ref @ spoiledmysterymeat.tumblr.com so I can toss together a proper sprite as one pixelmate to another

If I said that this story wasn't promising I'd be the biggest liar in the world. The artwork is wonderful, and the emotions are very well portrayed, even without giving the characters visible mouths.
