A Letter for Eko

It is the third era, year 1407. After a decades long war with the Grelkahn sand snakes, the Blackwing have only just begun to recover. With industry restarting all across their final remaining city, couriers are in high demand, and Eko could dream of no greater calling. However, for Eko, the challenge may prove impossible.

This is such a creative and visually pleasing comic while never getting too complicated.
I love it!

A comic with a style and tone all its own
I just ran through the first 47 pages (all that's been posted as of June 13) and I really love the aesthetic and tone you have going on with the pixel art vibe that emphasizes colors you'd see on a medieval scroll. I feel like I'm watching the cut-scenes of an old SNES era game and also being told an ancient fable of some bygone civilization at the same time. I'm really interested in seeing where you take this story.

On a side note, old bird lady seem to be summoning the dead and I am both skeptical and nervous about the events that may proceed thereof.

A couple weeks late
Sorry for that delay, things got a little hectic in the ol' life so I had a couple weeks of off time. Here's another animated page though!
@JayKnox: Whoa! That's so cool. Thank you for showing me :D! I would never think to do that, but it looks really charming blown up :D!

@capybaraqueen: unfortunately they're not all in one document because I have to blow them up larger to fit the dialogue text and upload them here, but at actual drawing size this is what they look like: http://imgur.com/a/g3UGc
My Giratinas, your animations are insanely amazing, the precision with which you create them on such a low pixelation scale.

That was pretty cool. I like the fade.
Zoomed out
Now I want to see what it looks like zoomed out! Are all the pages drawn on a large document?
Colors
I love your use of blue and orange in the comic. It creates a nice contrast and when you use blue it's so surprising :D
WOAH!
Animation! That's so cool :D
This is actually really interesting! I love the art style too, looking forward to more ^^

I just simply love this comic. I also love how it is pixel art. not many people do it anymore, which is sad because it is just so nice.

Anyway, can't wait for the next update.

Welp, sorry for the two weeks off, but to make up for it, here's 3 pages in a row.

We're coming up on the end of chapter 1!

Thanks so much to all those who've started reading. It's fantastic to see those little reader/fan numbers steadily climb.

As a side note, I've actually gotten a few amazing pieces of fan art over the last little while and I plan on having a showcase of all of them at the end of the chapter, so look forward to that!
