Hiddenfolk - A story of bullies and trolls

by Hiddenfolk
Lester Selman stands on a bridge, hundreds of feet above the raging river below. He is fifteen years-old. He won’t be the first kid from Hiddenfolk to jump – five have died in the last 18 months. But when Lester steps off that bridge, what happens next throws him into a world that unlocks the secrets to the bullies and trolls that make his life hell in the hallways, in the locker rooms, and on the Internet.

Lester finds out what’s on the other side. And it gets stranger by the minute.

@papierowybandyta: Thanks for the great comment, really appreciated - and you're spot on. The intention is to peel off a layer at a time, and let the story and the discoveries come at natural pace. We're seeing the whole story through Lester's eyes, therefore what he finds out is what we find out, when he finds out we find out.

There is something I really like about this comics:
it's the thin line between paranormal and well... normal occurrences. Readers could simply attribute whole situation to "internet trolls" and peer pressure but damn there is also this slight chance of the whole paranormal "bridge trolls" being an actual part of the world structure.
So far you balance the storytelling tightrope with great finesse!

I want to say that I'm so glad he's being cautious about her but part of me is afraid to see the next page if I do XD

I usually don't tend to hide in a sniper spot overlooking a party I wasn't invited to but when it comes to sitting quietly and hoping my sober self goes unnoticed, this resonates with me XD

None of these things look quite normal, especially the person who appears to be sprinkling themselves with seasoning and the dude who is sticking their fist in their mouth.

This page feels so alive and ominous - the lighting, the poses... It's incredible.

I'll never understand why people who supposedly have so much money would buy or build a house where the surrounding ground negated almost all benefits of having multiple stories.
