Don't worry we're very close to Dead Weight Part 2.
Just wanted to pop in and say I love this series!

...And how could you leave us on a cliffhanger :(
Sorry I know you've been left with a cliff-hanger, but you know the routine, yes it's sketchbook time!
Yep! For the first time we’ve got ourselves a cliff-hanger ending! What will happen to Stan out in the fog? Will Boss Charlie’s boys find Stan before he can get to Fulham Police Station? All these questions will be answered in the next issue of The Stanley Vasco Case Files. See you then!
Now that we've all caught up, let's begin!

A NEW YEAR
Welcome to London 1951, a year which saw The Festival of Britain open on the Southbank of the Thames to promote a feeling of optimism in post-war Britain. The Korean War briefly paused as a cease-fire was agreed along the line of the 38th Parallel. War time Prime Minister Winston Churchill was voted into office again at the ripe old age of 76 as the conservatives won the general election. The legendary Goon Show first aired introducing us to the talents of Peter Sellers, Spike Milligan, Harry Secombe and Michael Bentine, and 6 years after the war food rationing was still in place.

In the nation’s capital, a new Chinatown began to emerge as Chinese immigrants moved from Lime House in the east end of London to the Soho area of London’s west end, introducing Londoners to Chinese cuisine as new restaurants sprang up across the country.
Going Down to Chinatown!
Next week sees the start of an all new story set in London's Chinatown during Chinese New Year! See you then.
Well in the world of Stanley Vasco Christmas is finally coming to an end! For me it seems like a long time ago now.....

Next week sees the start of our Christmas issue, ‘Jingle Bells, Batman smells…..or so they say!’
This issue's sketchbook contains a homage to Mr Alex Ross!

Next week it's character dossier time!
