I feel guilty that I haven't posted here in forever. The truth is, when it comes to these strips, it's best to have light and fun topics. Lately, things have been problematic--and I don't want this strip to be about self bleeding/emo, whining, complaining crap. Lol.

Made a (small) list of possible strip ideas in the future. Not promising any regular updates of course, but there ya go.

Since I kept getting notes on comments here, figured I'd update and answer those~ Had this drawn back in September, but had never managed to scan and finish it. For almost 3 years I had my sternum periced. It's a surface peircing using a barbel that goes up vertically in the space between ones breasts. From the start the peircing has been problematic, so although I was sad it was rejecting, I was happy as well. At the time it rejected, the area looked like a mouth...or girly parts, take your pick. I kept imagining it would talk to me...so you can see the result.

This one was drawn back in November (when it happened). This weekend was busy for me in terms of work, so I inked this old strip.

The pun is in reference to Revolutionary Girl Utena/Shoujo Kakumei(?) Utena. If you've no clue the references then watch this: link

Also the pose and shirt flying open is in refs to a character later on in that series...I don't feel like hunting down clips of Touga make his "Do you hear it?" speech. The Smash the world's shell speech was hard enough to track down.

and seriously...this made me laugh. My cats do the same thing with my shoes...even going so far as to take my socks from me.

Drawn on Thanksgiving :3. Yes, I am quite the dork.

Thanksgiving was somewhat difficult this year for me. It has always been associated with Grandma. Since she recently passed roughly a month ago, I'm still somewhat in the grieving process.

Although I am the pickest eater I know, and I wouldn't touch close to half of what we ever make, I'm still a fan of turkey skin. I would always wait around the kitchen for Grandma to get the turkey out of the oven so she could give me handouts of skin while she carved.

We decided to spend the holiday at home and not travel 4 hours north to spend with the big family. It would've been too difficult. Mom had made the fixins here, turkey included. Of course, I'm sitting and waiting for skin as she's pulling it out to carve it. And I wait...and I see she's having difficulty cutting our bird up. So, she hands the knife and fork to my brother to have a go. And after five minutes of watching him struggle, I go "Hey, hand it over, I swear you guys aren't even stabbing the bird."

:3 Five minutes and that bird was clean of meat. What I've learned, turkey carving is fun! :3 I'm also now the official turkey carver at home.

Originally this was drawn back during the summer, but on Thanksgiving I decided to ink it while also making a new CST. So you guys get two (even if belated) because of the holiday.

Back in the summer, I'd bought Jade a body harness meant for dogs. We didn't know he would take to it, but he does surprisingly well with it. He lets me put it on without too much trouble. Honestly, he views it more like a toy than anything else. We only put it on him if we're going to take him outside onto the porch. Unfortunately, he got so used to the idea of being let outside, he tries to make a dash everytime the door's open now. So...alas, we take him out even less now due to it.
