@Yolk: I don't know... they seem more powerful but if they're just items, can't they be stolen, or dropped, while the stat boosts are permanent.

@Yolk: If it's procedurally generated, then I agree entirely

Sorry, already got the comic planned out. I'm also not really looking for people to notice my comic just because of a girlxgirl situation, it's really the story that matter more to me than the characters romantic relationships! Thank you though for your input
it would be cute if the boy was a girl and the main charater is a girl is it would make it a yuki comic/manga and u coulsd get more people who watch 😃

@dracone: What I'm using from Zelda is a basis for the lore and the idea of the map, it's essentially what a theoretical virtual reality of Zelda would look like in thirty or so years. Everything has been well planned out, and I'm not using the storyline from Zelda in any way for the majority of the comic. As well as this, though I haven't gotten to it yet and it's a bit of a spoiler, around fifty percent of the comic isn't going to be in the fantasy game world at all, but rather in a modern real world setting as kids navigating through high school.

I appreciate your warning, but I've been working on the story for this comic for years and I know what I'm doing ^-^' I'm aware some people will still call me a hack for using anything from the game series in the first place, but what I'm doing is rather different from making a fan comic based off the story of the actual series.

@Lady Lu-san: You can make other references, sometimes things you don't think would work together mesh surprisingly well. Given the high fantasy setting you seem to be going for maybe you should look at things like D&D for a bit more diversity. You also have to remember, references can be easily as overt as they are subtle. I'll admit, the Zelda aesthetic is a good base to start with, but you need to branch it out in these early pages before you artistically trap yourself in with all the aping from a single source

If you pack everything in to look like an existing property you paint yourself into a corner in a number of ways, such as the legal hounds for Nintendo calling you out for copyright infringement or some readers calling you a hack
