Id - The Comic

Escapism is something we as humans do to cope with the harshness of our daily lives. Simple games, tales we tell each other... even our Dreams.
What if I were to tell you that within our collective subconscious; a stabilized world of dreams exists.
There, mingled in it all... is a dimension-- a place-- where the nightmares and good memories we think of have drifted pieces and fragments of itself to create a utopia known simply as

The Nexus.

Page 2 of a 2 page update!

I got depressed recently and realized-- you know... I can't keep goin back and tweaking pages all the time.

I've had this comic going off n on for 2 years now and keep stopping when i feel like my start stinks. So I'm just gonna keep going and maybe... maybe when I'm really deep in, I'll redraw them.

But right now I need to stop sulking... and start drawing!

I just read the pages you have up right now and it's interesting for sure! Looking forward for more. :)

I worry that your intro is hurting your comic though - you have this adorable pleasant art style but before readers get to it they have to click through five pages of oversized text and abstract colourful triangles which you generally expect from newbie artists who don't have anything to show besides that. BUT YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO SHOW. I think condensing your abstract art intro to 1-2 pages tops or (preferably) redoing it in a way that would show off your art strength and more of what the comic actually is about (a visible character narrating the same text? fantasy backgrounds between all the triangles?) would make more readers stay and not give up on Intro page 3 (like I did when I saw the comic for the first time, to be honest). There is A LOT of fantasy comics with mysterious intros out there so it's not really enough to pull readers in, especially with so many clicks.

I hope you don't take it the wrong way - again, you have these varied designs and adorable character interactions and and interesting setting but the intro is not showing off ANY of that while being quite long.

Finally! A New Page!

Fun Fact: Did you know that every page before 18 was made back in April 2017?
This is the first page with multiple panels done almost 9 months after! Wow!
