Jandi Bak is a 28 year old who has decided to simply take whatever life throws at her. Going to work and playing video games, Jandi figured she'd live a rather lonely life until she died. But after meeting certain Hero, she begins to think that perhaps this needn't have to be the case.

Same with me. I'm autistic and I need to take sertraline to help with chemical imbalances that cause me to get wound up really quickly. The sertraline helps to settle me down. Though Robin's taking half what I take, so she's probably better off than I am. 200mg is when it's used as an antidepressant where as the dose she and I take is anti anxiety.

@Ninjacookies: Sorry about that.
My bio-parents too broke up because my genitor went trough mental/emotional problems, though none of us realized it until much later. If he had gotten the help he needed back then, instead of only visiting a psychologist for the first time 15 years later, maybe things would have worked out differently.
Thing is though, people with mental problems deserve love too, especially when they are working on themselves, as Robin clearly is, since she has meds (implying she's seeing a doctor regularly) and we haven't seen her show any signs of depression (not that that means much, since depressed people are often good actors).
Karz88 makes a good point though, that Jandi's anxiety could lead her to ruminate this way too much and make a big deal of something unimportant... maybe she should take some meds as well, she actually is showing signs of depression or at least dysthymia.

I'm hoping to maybe do hand-drawn pages while in Korea but I won't make promises. ^w^;;

@Merrsharr: I wouldn't say die, If she's using them properly then there'd be no issue. The problem here is that Bandi doesn't know at all what could possibly lead her gf to needing them. I think she's going to assume the worst and kinda panic without doing the simple thing and asking her respectfully about them.

@Merrsharr: My parents relationship died because of this kind of stuff

@Karz88: @Ninjacookies: It's an antidepressant. I'm taking the same stuff

Also, why would the relationship die from that? They both have mental problems, and sure that may be a challenge sometimes, but certainly not a reason to call quits before there's any conflict

damn
Please tell me that robin is only taking those for a work related injury. I don't want the relationship to die when it was just starting.

@Ehhwa: Nah, that makes sense, no disappointment. I don't read comics for realism or physics.

@WithAOne: I've thought about the limitations of "invulnerability" and I've just decided, "F-it she's basically superman. she can't be hurt as long as she uses her powers consciously." So basically whether it's a knife or set of stairs, she's fine. But it's best not to think about it too much. LOL. I'm sorry if I disappoint you with my answer.

I feel like the conflicts for the next little while are all going to stem from Jandi being akin to a middle-school girl when it comes to romantic intimacy--slash, Jandi being an awkward, likely inexperienced in this kind of relationship, dork.

Tao-hua's powers?
Okay... question; how does Tao-hua's powers work? I would assume it's specifically making her skin like steel or something along those lines, because of the needle thing, but this here changes things. Does blunt-force effect her? I would assume the force of impact would still go through her body but at the same time the vibrations could just not act on her blood vessels, organs, etcetera. The name 'invincibility' (I believe it was) without context would make me think that she can't be harmed whatsoever but the needle thing implied that she can 'turn it off' so to speak. Plus her power doesn't seem to change her immune system--since she actually needed vaccinations in the first place.

I'm honestly not sure how the power works anymore. I thought that throwing yourself down stairs would give nasty bruises and have the possibility of fractures or even breaks, but with no skin injuries (cuts, scrapes, scratches, etcetera).

So... could you explain to my feeble mind?

I may be reading the hints wrong, but I think Jandi is aromantic. This theory might totally not be true, but if it is that'd be pretty dope <3

EDIT: I've adjusted how Robin looks in the 3rd panel b/c I felt the original gave off a rather... "creepy" vibe and that is not what I wanted. Hope showing her closed eye and blush helps. :)
