Hey, these things'life actually has a meaning.

And no, she does not have any information about what the main goal of te Central mind is. She doesn't even know what the depth of the subdivision is, and how many "return to ancestor mind" steps have to be taken to reach the Initial mind. She is not even sure it exists.

If you stick to the opinion that an edited version of a person is not the same person, then Pauline dies on page 28. (While saying "Wow!", which suits her very well.)

-And what about my personality?
-What personality?

Hey, these are the Prologue frames!

In general, it would be enough to think of one object - a ball - for the program to create some sort of reality using it.

Another passage:
"Thought itself became a problem. Reasoning was as natural as breathing, I could talk non-stop, but looking back and trying to understand what was it that I said - that would be difficult. The more attentive to detail I became, the less able I was to follow their flow. Questions like "what is flow", "what does it mean to look back" and "why is breathing natural" filled my mind to the point when continuing to think coherently was becoming impossible."

"In a world without light for some reason there are several dozen names for color hues. I cannot imagine them, but for some reason I know for sure which of them are "darker" and which are "lighter". What does "darker mean? - I also cannot imagine. Only define it in several ways, through other words, the meanings of which I do not know. As if something had deleted all objects from my head, leaving only the connections between them."

If this was a book, this is about what it what look like.

However, new categories are created quickly in the process of thinking.

A lot of text on black bacgronds is coming.

If, for, example, the memory is damaged and does not contain a single category, the program can't show anything - the internal mechanisms of recoognition do not work.

A visual demonstration
.

In this implementation of the human mind pattern recognition is not used often. When a human sees a lamp he has already seen a lot of times, there is not much sense in studying it in detail, so instead of transmitting a detailed image of a lamp, the program instead transmits a much simpler image and the idea 'lamp', and some internal mechanisms, afte that happens, begin activity in the area where the category 'lamp' is stored, thus causing recognition.

"How can two people understand each other?"
The answer would be obvious if she wasn't so egotistical.
