I really like Amber, pretty sure it's my fav character.
It's obvious she feels this way, but that being said, I hope she copes with this anger.
Me thinks she knows nothing about her mother's past. Not that her mother isn't guilty of being a POS.
Amber hurt someone, who shows her nothing but kindness.
It's really unfortunate that Amber feels this way. That said, I'm not sure which would be worse, her feeling this way or her feeling like everything she's gone through with her mother is somehow her fault like my comic's MC. I think I'd rather she feels like this than the latter, because at least from this she may be able to grow and move on. The latter would hold her back in life believing that all the bad things that happen to her are her own fault.

It's sad when home is not better than being on the run. Her aunt is an abuser.

Finally! A breakthrough. Now, I just want to clarify that I am well aware that Daisy isn't cured. However, this is a first step in that direction in admitting she wants people in her life. That's a big thing especially in this comic where everyone seems to be going towards a downward spiral. It's just refreshing to see the opposite and though healing takes time, it CAN happen.

@Guest: I'm not trying to romanticise. I am trying to say that when she sees that this guy isn't going to leave no matter how much she believes he doesn't like her, maybe she will see that she is wrong at least about him and grow from that.

@MK_Wizard: but the issue isn't actually with other people in the slightest, she's projecting self loathing onto other people's perceptions of her. What she would need is to learn self acceptance, a slow process that isn't forced or helped by some guy kissing you without consent or some girl relying on you to be her only emotional support through child abuse. Romanticising mental illness doesn't help anybody.

@Ainoko: However, maybe this will be a kick in the pants to get that help.
@MK_Wizard: It looks like Daisy feels that anyone she allows to get close to her, she'll push them away. She's afraid to let others get close to her.

She's mentally and emotionally broken and needs help getting fixed.

I really hope Daisy finally gets that she she is more cared for than she thinks she is.
Dear god.....no...
