A Love Unafraid

A Love Unafraid

by flyingdreamer14
A young farmer, who is too stubborn to admit his loneliness wakes up one morning to find a scarecrow has come to life!
The little fella insists on following him everywhere! His attempts at pushing him away or ignoring him seems fruitless and before he knows it, he develops a little soft spot for the little guy made of straw.

A slow burn Boys Love story about becoming human and getting over ones fear to love.

It's more of a practice comic, so expect inconsistent art and (hopefully) art improvement.

@WindowMaker: Ditto to Tapastic's nonexistent archive feature. If I were a hard-drinking man, I'd probably get vertigo from scrolling through their comics.

I'm with you that Tapastic is okay but not great.

Last time I was on The Duck was when I noticed the name was changed from Drunk Duck. Are they afraid the name was going to encourage underage drinking and excessive inebriation in general?

"You are the strawman, your argument is invalid"

Okay, for your question: As long as you also continue posting on SmackJeeves that is :)

I use a non-mainstream computer system, so I mostly read/browse comics on SmackJeeves or ComicFury; and to a lesser extent- Tumblr, DeviantART, and The Duck. I also read comics on any standalone sites that does not force me to use "modern" browser, and provide RSS/Atom feed.

Other than that, I do tolerate Tapastic (but curse their nonexistent archive page). For LINE Webtoon however: any comics that "move" there without having mirror elsewhere will be dropped from my reading list- no exception.

@flyingdreamer14: I think it's mostly that he's worried about his sanity.

If all fails in the short run, our scarecrow still has the kindly horse for moral support.

@Seve: Haha, I was leaning towards tapas, but only because it was the first comic website I read on outside of smackjeeves. I've been curious about the inking system and that's true that accessibility is convenient!

I think I will give it a try! Just gotta do a bit more research now lol Thanks for the feedback!

@Xabel Mind: Hm, that's a good point! I'll definitely take a look at the rules, but I think you're right anyway. I'm too shy to draw nakedness haha >///< .... the scarecrow is bare anyway so... XD

I personally love Tapas. It´s much more dynamic, there's great rapport with the readers, it allows you to add music from SoundCloud and allows people to show their support with the inking system. Many people who read my comics here go to Tapas just to ink me, and that's just awesome. The mobile app is also pretty good to update or check the comic on the run.
You should give it a try! I also post in Webtoons but what really bothers me about it is that it only allows 400 characters in the comic update description, and I'm a chatty author x)You also need to post pages separately, which is a bit annoying if you happen to work with the endless canvas format.

Drama king... You killed me! XD

Both Tapas and Webtoons community will like your work, soft romance is really apreciated.

But Webtoons instaured a narrowminded campaign against anything regarding nudes, sex or anything related. I don't think your work has any problem there, but take a look on the rules :I

Anyway, your work will do it good (^-^)b

Cole is a bit of a drama king :p

Barely got the page done on time! Phew! Spring break is going too quickly guysss :'(

In other news, we're almost to 400 fans! Wow there's so many of you! :o (Hello and howdy!) I was talking to a close friend of mine, and she was telling me that I should start thinking about posting on another comic hosting website like tapastic and/or webtoons. She specifically wants me on webtoons, lol but I thought this would be a nice chance to ask you guys for your opinion. :)

Where do you prefer to read comics: Webtoons or tapastic?
