Hulk Comics

by Blepsbianism
Hulk Comics is a comedy series that I drew from age 9 to 15 spanning roughly 500 pages. So it was made by a pre-teen mostly? Does that mean that it is terrible? Yes. If you don't like jokes involving poop, vomit or pee (like I do nowadays) or ones where the punchline is 'he's fat', then you are correct because those are bad and the most prominent jokes you'll see here. If you see one at all. I think the rest is quite alright though.

Hulk Comics, of course, stars Hulk. Hulk is a green man with purple shorts. The similarities end there. He lives with his magical dog Bobby (fully original), Kirby (Kirby), Marill (Pokémon) and a whole lot of other characters picked up along the way. The villain of the story are Plankton (Spongebob) and Barbarian Dave (Barbarian Dave), who are out for his blood and you'll have to read through 400 comics before you learn why. Actually, it's never fully revealed but it's quite tragic.

Anyway, you can read this if you want to get some references in the 2016 reboot.

The world's gone to the dogs.
A little after-credits scene here. You know who else is known to do those? That's right, Jenny Nicholson.

I think as a kid I didn't understand the difference between a reference and a complete re-enactment.

Our dog ate grass ones and puked funny mayo-looking stuff. The joke is that mayo doesn't belong on food.

This was also a Mickey Mouse one but I have no idea how this originally went.
It was a shoe in real life.
This experience may have been rather specific to me.

You ever have those anime episodes where they go to an aquarium and they just have the most insane shit there?
