The Port of Manteau

The Port of Manteau

by Somethingspudgy
The Port of Manteau is an expansive hall filled with thousands of doors, behind which exist fantastical worlds and magic beyond comprehension. Each door has a single key, and the job of Keyholder is not an easy one, as you must master the powers within the pocket world in order to protect it from that which threatens it. Unbeknownst to many, villainous powers are beginning to band together. Now, five young Keyholders must band together in order to protect the Port and the Worlds Beyond.

AND WE'RE BACK
Hey everyone!

Sorry about the unexpected hiatus. This summer was waaay busier than I expected it to be, so I had to let TPoM sit for a bit.

But! I still have a lot of story to tell! So I won't give up on this any time soon.

Thank you all for your patience! And thank you for reading and sharing! <3

Hey y'all! Just wanted to say thank you so much for reading!
And also to give you a quick update!
My job is starting to get into its full stride, and, as things get more hectic, I have less and less time to work on The Port of Manteau...
So the next few weeks are going to be a little experimental. I'm going to try and shift towards updating every OTHER week (meaning the next full page will be up June 5th), but I will still post a little something in the in-between weeks. This will probably end up being character sketches or possibly suggestions/ requests I see in comments! No promises, but if something pops out to me I'll try it out!
So in the meantime, have an excellent week, and I'll see you all next Thursday!
What accent does she have to go with that font?
Nana can handle herself but NOBODY messes with her cabbages!

Thank you for reading! ^^
WOAH HOLD UP
That's right
New Scene
New Characters
Also I'm testing out some new coloring methods! Since I do the pages originally by hand and then edit them later, I figured it would be much easier to to backgrounds completely digital and not spend lots of time just.... coloring sky and grass and stuff
More time to focus on SUPER COOL THINGS like WEREWOLF GRANDMAS
idk about y'all but that seems to be a fair amount of trouble to me
Three must have been busy during the Kidnapping Planning Process and they just never filled him in on the deets
CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT PAGE!!!!!!!!
Six of Hearts may be a trash gremlin but Three of Hearts is a very very Good Boy and deserves only the best
Ready... Set... FIGHT
Time to use those super great 10 year-old fighting abilities
Swords count as "something useful"
The yellow and blue intensities really get to the perfect level of eye hurtiness I wanted
That's the power of Key Magic babey

Mommy's Little Monster
Flying monkey card soldiers are fun to design but difficult to draw...... But so worth it.
