The Never Bound

by neverbound
Ava -a world of endless mystery, wonder... and bloodshed.

For centuries the people of Ava have waged war on one another.

Age old grudges and petty territorial disputes lock nations in endless conflict while foul abominations prey upon them from within...

The old battle lines begin to blur as ancient enemies rise from the ashes of the past aligned with a terrible power from beyond the stars!

This is an age where mighty heroes roar defiantly into the face of destruction itself, while wicked villains gorge themselves on the carnage of a world collapsing into death and decay.

@dmr11 Thanks for leaving a comment, it's great to see someone who's taken an interest in my story.
Haroo are generally obsessed with glory and proving their battle prowess, often leading to overconfidence in the face of extreme danger, which makes for good songs around the campfire -providing there's still someone left alive to sing about it later. ;p

My next update for the Never Bound will shed some further light on the Haroo society.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read the story so far! :D

Shouldn't the runner Haroo send one of their own back to report this demon instead of continue fighting something that had earlier massacred an even larger number of Haroo?

If they all die here, then how would their king know of this threat and that their people would be likely to suffer from being taken by surprise?

@Vixenkiba Haha I'm so happy to hear it, I always try to not take my art or my self too seriously and I'm so glad the juxtaposition of serious/silliness wasn't too distracting.

Don't feel too bad for Ulreig though, in the immortal words of Duckman: "there's nothing like getting knocked out by a professional -it leaves you so refreshed!"

@neverbound: I quite like that combination of stupid sillyness and seriousness, so keep up the awesome work xDDD

@Vixenkiba thanks so much!!
Yes that's a pretty damned accurate estimation of page time actually.

Haha that banana peel line man, I didn't know if it would be too silly or not lol, it sounds like it was just silly enough though so thank you so much for commenting on it and everything else!

Whoa Willis! This comic is such an experience!! I'm incredibly impressed with the amount of detail on every single page, like holy macaroni, a page must have taken like 30 hours to complete or something??

I love the serious tone of the story combined with little moments of pure comedy. Like bodies falling down like discarded banana peels :') Or a flamethrower of bees! :D I can't wait to find out what the creature is that Ulrieg was destined to meet...

The faces in the last panels are surprisingly comical for the otherwise serious tone of this comic xD I'm dying, hahaha! I mean, ahum *cough* I feel very sorry for Ulrieg.
