Ahh, creepy looking pig guy's home!! Either our protagonist is about to get in some serious trouble, or we're going to find out looks can be deceiving.

Nice to see an update, fantastic rendering as always!

FINALLY some NEW pages!
I am truly embarrassed at how long it has taken m to update. But finally I have done so and I want to thank all of the patient readers. I've posted up SIX NEW PAGES. Finally! Again thanks guys and gals.
This is so depressing, but I can't stop reading it!
I don't think the static panels are boring, I think the whole thing is fantastic. I also really love how you use the pictures to tell the story, rather than words. The mark of a true artist and storyteller!
Wow, the color looks great!

Wow, the artwork on here is utterly astounding!
This comic is beautiful and so sad. I'm looking forward to more!
This little guy is about to step into some crazy stuff!

I'm like so freakin' excited about the upcoming action in Chapter 4. No more boring static panels :) Time for the fun stuff. It will also push me even more artistically.
Finally a new update. I'm staying focused :) The story is moving along and getting closer to my favorite parts.

So I've been absent for a month or so trying to work on publishing this book. Yippee!!! I printed up some proofs and came to realize that the line quality needed to be heavier so I am a little bummed that I have to revisit pages. I want to revisit them now so that I do not have to do so once the entire novel is finished :) Well Wednesday night I will be on live around 9 ish working on some of the panels that I am talking about. Watch me on my webcam Tues & Wed nights around 9 pm. Check it out here:
I am SERIOUSLEY overwhelmed by awesomeness...*nosebleed*
:) Thanks. I'm happy you diggs it.

Back Cover Art: A Good Friend...

Mediums: Watercolor, Cold Press Paper,
Ball Point Pen (Red,Blk & Blue).

So this will be my last conceptual piece for now. I've got to start printing and binding the mini comics. And after that I have more panels to write and draw for book #3. I'm also thinking that I might create a sketchbook with some how to draw tips. Not sure. The process is time consuming and imagine this I have like three day jobs. It sounds much scarier than it is. But I'm trying to get some mini books done so that I can participate a little on the Comic-Con circuit along the east coast. I really need to fork out some solid nice pieces. Yes yes.
Mediums: Watercolor & Ballpoint Pen (blk)
Size: 8.5 x 12
Canvas: Cold Press Watercolor Paper

In this piece I'm trying to get familiar with the characters that make up the Ragbi Clan. They are a band of "boy" dolls that Jamal will encounter on his way to finding home. Three of the characters are not in this picture but I am working on another conceptual piece to help me establish their designs.

I have been terribly busy producing the first two mini comic books of the graphic novel in the making. It has been a fun process and it makes me feel very good to know that I have finally put my art first. Yippee! This conceptual piece will be used for the back cover of book 2.

I will only make 100 "handmade" copies of each mini-comic produced. Each mini comic will contain 20 pages of the story as it progresses. Once the entire story is finished I will then compile the mini-comics together as a single full graphic novel.

If you would like to follow the process closely you can tune in every week to my live video stream on Tuesdays and Wednesdays @ 9 pm I will be on camera live working on the book. Hope to see you there:
Cover Art for Books One and Two
Finally, I've completed the covers for the first two books in my mini comics series called SPiDERS.

Now I just need to finish up both books by placing in the dialogue pages and then I'm ready for new pages. Yippeee!

I'm documenting the entire process here:

Storyboard 12
This is just a transition set of panels. Nothing too exciting. The next set of panels will be somewhat of the same vain and will close out the second mini comic book. But after he get's on the other side of the door things get a little more interesting. :)
