The Red Brick Road of Oz

by Jaytshade89
"I'm Always Chasing Rainbows..."

Nearly 70 years ago, a little girl was carried away in a twister. When She was found, she told wild stories of witches, wizards, Yellow Brick Roads, Ruby slippers, talking Scarecrows, Lions, and Tinmen...

Now, 70 years later. The little girl has grown up, and died a trouble old woman. Her last living relatives have travelled to Kansas for the reading of her will.

For one young man, his whole life is about to be caught up and blown away in the storm of his life.

I agree with mr. Birdsong, you've certainly thought up a good background story for this character!!

I quite like the first panel by the way, hahah XD

Have you ever read a book called "Northern Lights" or "His Dark Materials"? Well, this is exactly how I imagined the "city in the stars" when I read that book... Lovely artwork!!

Okay, so this is the first really noticeable page revamp. You can see my style is really different now, and the character designs have (slightly) changed.

Also, I am experimenting with thicker, heavier lines...

Also, also I have so much work to do.

(oh god.)

Yes I revamped even this page. It's not a huge difference, but I feel better about it.

HOLY STYLE-CHANGE, BATMAN.

Hey guys! Long time no update! As you can see... RBROZ has undergone a bit of a style change. In the past 4 months my drawing style has changed dramatically. Like... hardcore. Even this page isn't completely up to date since it was sketched out about 3 months ago.

Yes, the little monkey's name is Nikko. and yes, things are moving rather quickly. :D

Updates should be more regular from now on. :)

I hope you like the new style!!
