Holy crap, I had no idea the last page I uploaded here was in December. Sorry!! I've been
trying to buffer up the <a href="http://millennium.senshuu.com">main
site</a> with regular pages (substantial and non-spreads) since then...slowly. :(
Pages 6 and 7 took me an inordinately long time to finish, but we're moving along. At
least I broke my standard of pages-per-year for the last 3 years! (2007 = 4 pages, 2008 =
4 pages... we're at 7 this year! Woo!)

Five year celebration pic for Millennium. Not much happened between Year 4 and Year 5 (or
the year before that, for that matter). () But I DID decide on a REVOLUTIONARY restart,
and here's some of the influence: design tweaks and color quality. <3
Let's hope for the best from here on out!

NOTE: Millennium won't update its mirrors again until it's at least three pages ahead on
the main site. :3 That is, until I've finished three more pages. So if you want to know
what happens in "advance," check out the homepage links! Two pages is
important!
Yes, I did it... I finally added a new page, and I kept my new year's resolution from last year by beating 2007's update record of 4 pages. And on the last day of the year, too. lol.
I had hoped to get a lot more done this year, but while doing this page I discovered that I actually like doing backgrounds now. Thank you, Painttool Sai. :D It's gloriously easy to make pages now, oh my gosh. I am going to shower you in them soon enough, just you wait. Comicing is fun again! And this page held up pretty well, considering I originally drew it sometime last year. (Note to self: actually, there's supposed to be a text box somewhere on this page. Whoops. "The birth of magic." Take note.)
I'm sure this page will get tweaked later, but for now I'm very satisfied. :D

I decided backgrounds will be more stylized. I don't really want or need to do realistic
ones, unless it's a close-up shot. Ohhh, I can't wait until I'm into the main story again.

Before we change scenes, we find a mysterious tribe has turned animal as they visit their
temple! The perspective in that panel is still very off, and I know why, but it's stylish
at least.
Exactly one thousand years later, we find a volcano, normally dormant, about to erupt! These very detailed prologue pages are a great way for me to experiment with color, as seen here.
