So pretty! ^.^ Somehow your style reminds me a bit of Alichino.
I really like this
Hello everyone again!

So sorry about the delay, I haven' t been able to do anything much that I actually like, with all that' s been happening (artificial teeth and the bone they are attached to are slowly disappearing, getting a driving licence that finally I did, some hospital demanding money which we don' t know if it' s valid, and a couple other things aside the usual school stuff... if you are interested).

Now even though I had no time to draw, I did have the time to daydream and think over the story of RealmWorld. Thus I met the decision to restart it much further ahead in the course of events and this time in colour. Watercolours mainly, to be precise, if you take a look at my dA site you will see it in my older works.

The pages I have now will most probably return as flashback pages; I' m fairly sure about this though not 100%. Luckily for now they didn' t reveal that much aside that Hazel doesn' t like roasted lizards whereas kobolds do. ;P

So, RealmWorld will return in a couple weeks; this time with colours, a story that is more than the spur of the moment, and proper title pages.

About this picture; I took Aquarell classes this semester. We get photoes and we have to paint them. Now usually I need about 6-10 hour for the lineart and another 6 hours for the colouring process. All I have now are 2 hours all together... and it' s a very useful experience.

Thank you so much for your patience and support!

Dear Everyone!

Sadly, the computer problem is NOT sorted out; I was just lucky to be able to put up this page.
Thank you so much for your kindness and understanding, it really meant a lot to me. (That' s not even properly expressing how grateful I felt.)
My new computer is already here, it just still needs to be set up and this depends completely on my father' s schedule. The poor thing is extremely busy, as always at the beginning of September (he works at a school and basically has to set it in motion. Time table, hiring new teachers, teaching too, and putting up with all the teachers telling him they' d rather not teach in first lessons because they want to take their children/sick mom/sick uncle/sick dog to the proper place. No one wants to get up early). However, he managed to breathe a little life into my old compy. It sometimes runs normally, sometimes still freezes, let' s just hope it will be nice and work when the next page comes. *fingers crossed*

Meet Moriana, the owner of the fantasy house, a witch and teacher of Hazel, our main character. Also, meet uncle Maho, an old friend of hers; he' s suffering the consequences of a lifelong practice of witchcraft (hence his eyes). In this story, witches are magic-users who specialize in healing... and the rest will be explained with a World page, hopefully put up next week.

Hugs to you all, cakes, cookies, chocolate, or a nice stew if you don' t like sweets!

Heldrad: Thank you very much, for the next pages I' ll try my own handwriting and balloons and we' ll see how that works out. :)

ChocoFlake: Lizaaaaaard! Filled with flies, goes well with marmalade and pepper. XP
I think maybe next summer.

Soulreason: And what a reptile! Crunchy, well-done, good for your health!

yeaka: There' s a reason for that odd speach pattern. ;)

i like the fonts "anime ace" and "wild west" - that's what i use for mine, anyway. ^^; i also prefer hand-drawn balloons, but that's all opinion. as for getting the balloon sizes right, it mostly comes with practice - or you make adjustments in photoshop. Heldrad's right about how to access the fonts, too. :)

anywho, what odd speech patterns this main character has. X3 very interesting. i'm very fond of her appearance; especially her eyes and hair. but this new girl also has a neat design. i'm liking the way you draw the fantasy touches... anywho, keep up the lovely work~ :3

Amazing! Although, for some reason it seems very familiar to me. I don't know from where, though. And I don't know when. I think I saw this pic sometime before. xD Anyway, great job!

I think the "ale & wenches" font would suit your story very much! :D or the "Paperboy" one as well. As for ballons, I'd suggest you to draw them by hand, it shows more personality and feeling, and you can draw them the way you want~
I draw everything by computer, so I usually use simple ellipses with a little tail drawn by hand.
You could also use your own handwriting if your satisfied with it! :D I could never do that because mine is so horrible xDDD

And after you download the font, you just need to unzip the files and move them to the fonts folder in the WINDOWS main folder.

As you can see I' m not quuiiite satisfied with the font myself... thus trying out another one which isn' t much better in my opinion... But the moment I find the correct combination of lettering and bubbling I' ll edit back all of the pages, promise.
Now, the question before I go raid Blambot: is there a font anyone would recommend? Or, should I use computer made fonts at all? The bubbles could be done by hand, and they really would fit the page better that way... the problem is how to edit bubbles like that and that they would get in the way of drawing. (Past experiences, does anyone remember Malcontents written by Evil Emperor Nick? ;) ) And that led me to the conclusion that maybe I should use my own handwriting...
Well, not if there' s a nice font.
The other question is: who is for and who is against hand-made ballons? How do you get the balloon' s size right?

Last question: what do you do to be able to use a font after you downloaded it?

ChocoFlake: Well then, if I ever put up their story I' ll let you know! ;D

Yeah,I've already visited your DA gallery, and I have to say that all your drawings are gorgeous. I wish I could draw like you. I guess I'll have to practice a lot...

OH, and lovely page, as always. I'm glad I faved this =)

And thus ends the soft drink advertisement as she forgot to concentrate...

The "building" (in reality: "growing") in the previous page is the home of the witch whose apprentice she is; and she is simply surprised because, even though this is just a fantasy world, it' s still unusual that someone grills their breakfast practically on your doorstep.

Also, I guess this isn' t going to be mentioned by the characters themselves so maybe I should explain:Potato, the mane dragon had a little illness and that' s why he was put at a place where he could recover in peace... and also because dragon diarrhea is rather uncomfortable. Judging from his appetite he' ll be fine in a couple of days, though.

I' ll be going to see my grandmother for a number of days and also, my computer is going to be exchanged for a better one. Which isn' t too hard to do as this compy died on me about 3 times this year already and the last time it did it killed off about 75% of my data, including all of my music. That means I have no idea when the next update will be, but if there isn' t a new page by next Thursday you will know that the old computer fought back against forcible eviction.

spiralfanatic: I try my best with backgrounds, the main problem with them is that they aren' t quite as interesting as face expressions... ^_^;

Heldrad: I will put up a world page soon, so you will be able to see most of the thoughts that went into this. ;)

Morichi: Thank you! *hug*

*milk+assassin*: Yup, it' s all in pencil, though I wouldn' t say it' s too fast, it' s just that it' s still summer break.

ChocoFlake: I actually also have a project that has fairies and gnomes... I mean gnomehoppers in them! ;) You can see a couple pictures about them at my dA page.

ringo: 7 pages at the time... that title page has eeeevil eyes... I mean I' m lazy to do it. ^_^;

Mousey: Now there are the first words! :D well, hmmmm... *scratches her head*

redikurai: I don' t have a ring, but I do have a ringfinger. ;) Thank you very much! *hug*

*speachless for the first time in her life*
wow it looks like aged paper thats really cool i love how you drew the water. I suck at water which is probably why I am in awe of it. This lowly commener bows at your feet, and kissed the ring on your left pinkey to pay respect (like the mafia boss or the pope. lol)continue your awsomeness

Ahhh, goodness, your style is both beautiful and inspiring, in its own way. Your pencil work is stunning. :3 And I love how a story is still being told, even without words. :D
And I love Potato. >w< <3
