Sprite Develop

by The_mad_one
A slightly different Choose Your Own Adventure, it's pretty much "Choose Their Own Adventure".

In this comic, you can command not the developing sprites, but the environment and characters around them. They will respond to the changes, and change from a simple shape to a being with a personality of its own, to eventually get a name.

And then Lunar Hill nostalgia made me check this comic.
And I became sad with the Hiatus-esque nature of its status.

Yeah, sorry. I'm too busy to get anything done these days. :(

If homework ever stops flooding, I'll make sure to get this comic going again.
Sprite 1's story didn't really work well at all. It's a few pages, but you can skip to Sprite 2 if you want:

>Cookies rain from the sky, hitting the hate and making him fall off the damaged space station.

Teaser: Apple's command is first to come.
>Chef: Find a large pot for the fish and fill it with water.
Slime: Roll a d20 for your fish-reviving skills.

Also, a small area covered in snow appears to the south.
>Slime: call upon the assistance of the great sprite god (...Pixbittia?) to revive the fish, then vomit water into the bowl, so the fish can live in it.
>
>The bird(Aerkane): Enters the room and simply sits on the table silently, shifting his eyes back and forth.
>
>(if revival succeeds) Chef: Dance in celebration.
>(if revival fails) Chef: cry and tell Sprite3 that the fish is dead!!!

>oh, and just cause, A GIANT VOLCANIC PLANE APPEARS TO THE WEST OF THE CURRENT ROOM!!!

EDIT: I just realized that realized that I made a giant lava-filled aerial transportation vehicle appear to the west, and lol'd at the fact that it took me a month to realize this.
>Grasslands, grasslands as long as the eye can see. Also a lake filled with fish of multiple colors Northwest to the facility. This grassland appears exactly at the borders of space, so there is also two bridges leading between the grasslands and the facility, over space.

That makes no sense at all.
Yahoo, I'm lucky ^_^

>Slime: Revive the fish, then turn back into a fishbowl to make sure it survives.
Slime angel uses the hair of the other sprite there, the cook's hat, and some things from the fridge to perform a revival ritual on the fish. He then returns to being water so the fish can survive.

I really didn't expect the bowl to have any purpose, till I rolled this comment. :3

Besides the fish issue, there's also an issue with the crowd forming in this station. The center platform is a newborn sprite area, so it will keep spawning sprites. Might want to add some more world for them to move in.

There's the situation, now for the results: command away!

New room, woop. And the green triangle seems to be doing nothing at all.

This comment made me doubt the killing of fish again, then I figured it didn't mention tossing the fish in, meaning it'd take another page, which is just to long for a fish that's dying already.
As commanded by Brade the echidna
Who has not missed a round yet! :o

I considered letting the fish live a little longer, but I'm not that merciful. :3
I prefer that there's actually some risk. Consider yourself warned. Bwahahahaha.

Teaser: Brade the echidna's command is first to come. The Brade-streak remains.... 0_o
A astroid colides with the space station, having devisating effects, but not destroying it.
>SUDDENLY, SPRITES 3'S GAURDIAN ANGEL, A BLUE SLIMY CARING SLIME COMES TO HELP HIIIIIIIIIIIIMMM
>Troll: Decide that the Fagbird is your new pet.
