Pandemonium Renaissance

by hushipro
The Abyss...a place that has long been unfairly maligned, but a place which is actually quite beautiful and glorious. Its inhabitants, the many demon lords and ladies, many of whom were once loved and respected, have found tourism declining in the past few centuries.

Now Luceferos, encouraged by Lilith, must attempt to introduce his home to a new audience. With the help of his friends and fellows, he hopes to make possible a renaissance.

Pandemonium Renaissance is a story that contains adult themes, dealt with in a mature manner. These may include things like relationships beyond exclusive heterosexuality (such as bisexuality, homosexuality/boys love/girls love, polyamory, and so forth), full nudity, and discussion of mature topics. It also contains many references to mythology, legend, folklore, magic (or magick as you please), and spirituality.

The main motivation behind Pandemonium Renaissance is to relax the reader and to bring the reader pleasure, through an appealing dreamlike fantasy. It is my hope that, as well as this, it will also open the mind of the reader to perspectives that he or she perhaps previously had not considered.

Amazing how you can make peacefulness look so damn sexy. Can't wait to see what's next. Don't keep us in suspenders.

Dreaming indeed with little elephants, and horsies dressed like cowboys >x<

PanRen is a wonderful place to come to to relax and reread about topics once discussed. It does make sense to allow that peace for the author too, even if it means a temporary break to achieve this.

I've always heard it as 'absence makes the heart grow fonder', so in this case it might be completely applicable. :)

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment.

Ohh, Belphegor!! Why must you be so adorable and sexy simultaneously!? /sob

You can bet your ass I'm looking forward to the day you return! c:
What's the saying? "Distance makes the heart grow fonder"? In this case distance is time, but it's not any less apt, I think. :3 ♥

I understand completely. Every story tells itself in its own way and in its own time.

This picture is as strangely sexy as it is adorable. <3 Sad to know it will be on a bit of a hiatus, but I know you can't force the right kind of inspiration. I will be waiting eagerly for more! Thank you for leaving us with such a delicious image in the mean time. >3

Reverie
The reverie of the innocent is a wonder to behold. Dreams unfold of every possibility and every potential, and they dance within the world of dreams...nothing is forbidden or impossible.

Since we have come to a place where I can, I have decided that now is a good spot to take some time from Pandemonium Renaissance. I will of course be returning to it, in a little time, but this is a very special story that I must have the right inspiration for and must be able to convey in my strongest way. When I have enough to tell more of the story, I will return to it. I look forward to it immensely, as I hope you will also: our venture into the world of dreams, for the wonderful demon lords and ladies of the Abyss.

Until next time, be well. And of course, please do check in at Incubus Tales for updates.

May your dreams be beautiful ones...with little elephants!

Thank you so much...that really means a lot to me, especially this week. I had been feeling a bit low and a bit doubting of myself, and this comment comes at a good time to reassure me that I'm making people happy and they're enjoying what I have to say. Thank you so much again.

Man, I gotta say, I just ADORE how you draw hair, eyes, all those beautiful shapes you use. There's such a fantasy feel of it - you can really lose yourself in these gorgeous, meaningful worlds you have created. You have a wonderful mind and I'm so glad you share it. All your extras in the comments are such a sweet extra - it always feels like a little gift! <3

There's a fine line between psyching yourself up, and psyching yourself out.

You plan ahead, do your homework, and then, like the Rebok slogan says, "Just do it." Nobody succeeds 100% of the time, but the ones who succeed the most are the ones who learn from their mistakes, and keep trying.

I'm reminded of one of my favorite strips from that classic cartoon "B.C." We see Thor, the inventor, obviously in the process of inventing skiing. He's got a pair of boards under his feet. He launches down the ski jump and goes shooting off the end. The boards go one way, he goes the other and does a humongous faceplant into the trunk of a tree. In the last panel, he's standing hip deep in snow, battered and bruised but unbowed. He utters one word, "Straps!"

C'est ça.

It's very true, very true indeed...we all have those moments of weakness, but in a world where will and resolution are supreme, it is most dangerous of all to doubt oneself!

If you don't believe in yourself, how can anyone else believe in you? It's when you begin to waver in your belief and doubt sets in that you begin to second guess yourself.

It's always good to believe in oneself. It's difficult sometimes, but...it seems like today especially I needed to see Mama's words here.

Take to heart indeed! Mama Lilith you are very beautiful AND very wise ♥
I always believe in my dreams! Or at least I try to. I'm an eternal optimist, so believing in not only myself, but others is basically my duty! xD Or at least that's how I see it.
Throw logic to the side! Do the impossible! Believe in the me that believes in you! Yours is the drill that will pierce the heavens!
(Oh, Kamina, you're after my own heart.)

Eyes and Inspiration
I am so proud, I must say, of the way Mama Lilith's eye looks there. It seems to draw the vision to it, to sweep the page entirely to the centre. I am very pleased about that.

And her words are wise ones that I think we would all do well to take to heart...I'd like to hear your thoughts, too, about this particular topic. I know we all get discouraged and doubt ourselves, but in a world where will and mental fortitude are the most important things, it becomes even more important to be resolute. Don't you think?

Until next week, be well as always!

It is a lucky person who can find a companion who will allow them to be who they are. And Belphegor's must frequently smile and murmur, "Silly old bear," slip in beside him and pull the blanket up over them. I have a feeling he and his companion lead a very rich dream life.

Belphegor is indeed like that...and he also doesn't like too much attention to be fawned upon him because he likes energy to be conserved...he likes to relax. So his ideal mates recognise this need and can relax with him. :)
