I've been asked this one before. Their beaks were kinda inspired by parrots' beaks, so I
guess you could say it's part of the beak, or a nose X3
Also, top right panel is inspired by a genesis game, kinda obscure reference but you're awesome if you guess it^_^

It's never occured to me except now to ask what are those things on their beaks? I had
assumed it to have been a bandage, but after noticing the Napoleon dude have one too, I'm
not so sure 0_0
