Jenn, a naive young girl, believes the world outside her school is just like the one in her books; a land based on freedom and opportunity. However, once she leaves the only place that sheltered her since birth, she finds that life outside the school walls isn't as peachy as advertised, but engulfed with war, poverty, and death.

Being forced to deliver a letter outside the school's walls and across the land, Jenn journies on to find a glimpse of light in this bleak reality of hers.
