Same here!
you shouldn't outline your quills and clothes and crap, because then it's not genesis style. you should first draw the outline in a light colour, fil it in, shade the sprite along with the outline, and then recolour the outline to the primary colour, so that it is genesis style.
Cool. *Adds to Favs*
Wait. Hold shift and Drag? I tried it, But it didn't work.
EDIT: NVM, it works.
This helped a teeny tiny bit, thanks.

<-- By the way a friend made that for me, I can't sprite to save myself.

@Jetex: get a character. find some wings. put the character in front of the wings. you're done.

It's not working for me.
How about you make the next tutorial for when spriters want a sonic fan character with wings?

these are for ms paint users, myself i use adobe fireworks
I've never seen any attempts at a motion blur in MS Paint before. If I were doing that, I probably would dither it so it fades out more at the end.
Took me 5 mins to make this so it looks crap

There's an easier way that will let you recolor a whole sheet with a few steps. http://howtousepaint.smackjeeves.com/comics/799789/step-1-recoloring/
Exactly how do you shade the quills when I try it it never comes out right.
pm me some and I'll see wat i can do
