So there's that.
Originally I wanted to begin Ace Black, P.I. today, but I've had so much to do and have been so caught up in Gary the Alchemist, and had so little motivation, that I couldn't finish the first chapter in time. Considering the direction of that series, it would have been appropriate to start it or end it on December 21, but time is always kicking my ass, so... you get a one-pager.
I wasn't quite sure just what I wanted to do for this. I knew it would involve a timeskip so it could take place in 2012 (Melody & Macabre takes place in 1997, and even Ace Black would take place in 1999), but other than discussing the Mayan Calendar (which I wish I could have done more of, but one page has its limits) I didn't know how I could take it character-wise, to imply what all has gone on in 15 years and where the characters are now.
Then I thought, "To hell with it," and went for the big impact, in keeping with MM tradition. Not really going to say what that implies though, I'll leave you all to your Wild Mass Guessing.

Tch, I wish I'd finished COLORING the whole archive. I think there are STILL some pages in Mel&Mac that haven't been shaded. xD
Hey, any time you have available will be fine. I just need to find some time for me to work out scripts too...

As I said I'm a big Mel&Mac fan, and I kinda wish I had downloaded the whole archive. Mmmh.
I'm kinda busy but if you ever want to work on it any specific time, let me know and I'll see if I can help out.

And thus we close another short story. I really hope to add more of these when I can (more than just Halloween), but I'll need other artists to do it.
So um... if anybody feels like drawing some Mel&Mac-relevant stories, feel free to let me know and I can work out a script and we can collab and stuff.

Apologies for the incredibly late update, I didn't have one of the pages.
This MM Special was artened by kuroi_hitsuji. It's my first collab! Hooray!
I've gotta say, I'm pretty pleased with the overall outcome of it. I'd never planned on writing the story of what Death did to cause the Plague, but at some point I thought, "Why the hell not?"

This actually did have some impact, as much of a one-liner as it is.
I would love to see Ace Black, and I'd love to work on it, but as a student, I'm losing more and more of my free time. I barely have time for my own projects.
