See No Evil

Evil is a subjective idea, no one truly believes themself to be evil. Instead, it's others that are evil.

Here it is, nothing can stop him, he's got him by the throat and he's ready to do it...

Now it's time for Tabula Rasa to show what he's made of!
Or just beat a guy up.
Regardless, he's kickin ass now.

I really hope this is clear enough, but I'm not really sure so I guess I should point out that that is actually Tabula healing/regenerating/whatever you want to call it from the knife wound. It's one of his many talents that you'll see.

(no he is not invincible, but you'll see that later too)

Weird panels hopefully make sense here.
Also a distinctly stoic pose by Tabula is entirely intentional to show off his bad-assery of not needing to avoid the knife because... well you'll see on the next update.

And so it gets all action-y for reals.
Action is not a strong point of mine, especially considering I'd say the same about drawing the next few pages are a little sketchy but hopefully my panelling skills will help make up for it.

Interesting start, seems very experimental.

Ah yes, I should point out that in this style everyone looks kind of weird as you can see in the first panel, but rest assured the only non-humans are Tabula and his shadow.
The reasoning behind this look is quite convoluted for me to bother explaining unless anyone specifically wants me to explain it, but you've probably heard enough of me talking as it is.

Ah yes, I didn't mention earlier but apologies for the bad scans, evidently my scanner sometimes decides that it should cut off some of the image, regardless of if there's actually something drawn there or not.
Hopefully the scanner in college will do a lot better and then I could possible re-do these...

Sorry if this is unclear for some people, but the different writing is to show which one is talking because they're thoughts as opposed to regular speech bubbles. Anyway, onwards with the story!

And so begins part one of the comic, which follows Tabula Rasa.
I don't want to give too much away in these comments, the comic pages should be doing that ;)
I hope you'll like it, this is an idea that's been rattling around my head for a long time and it will hopefully stop now that I'm getting it onto paper.
New page up in 3 1/2 days!
