And that wraps up the first story arc, Tales from the Supermarket!

Next week: Godzombie.
Wait, wait, why does Paul have the grocery bag?
If you're wondering, Paul is holding the bag because the shoplifter dropped it.
So, is it the cotton candy hair that makes her so tasty? Or is it the fresh fruit filling?

I'm glad to see that Paul is finally expanding his diet. Maybe now he'll get some meat on his bones! Children and little old ladies just don't provide much in the way of protein and calories.

Photoshop Paul
In order to get the comic to have four panels like I wanted, I had to do this week's comic in Photoshop instead of Manga Studio. I think that in some ways it looks a lot better. Unfortunately the word balloons suffered greatly.

Comments, anyone? Like or dislike?
Well, I guess that's the price you pay for having noticeably bright pink hair...forget the shoplifting.
Look at all these clippings!
These early pictures of Paul (save for British Secret Agent Zombie, top right) were drawn on Post-It notes and pasted all over my co-worker's office when he wasn't there. These were the only original clippings recovered from the office as it was cleaned out, so I wanted to share the origins of Paul.
I actually saw a little old lady with bright pink hair like that before. The best part is that I was riding with my grandma and my cousins and we all laughed so hard at it. Of course, the real one had a beehive hairdo, but I like the light fluffy curls instead.
I know what you're thinking -- why the mop in the last panel? Funny the things that get edited out and the things that don't....

There was originally supposed to be an extension of the boss's instruction, but it was too wordy and not at all funny so I changed it entirely.
Martha's views do not reflect those of the author.

@enchantma: if the child were smart enough to be worth saving, he wouldn't have tried hiding in a zombie's kitchen! =D Thanks for reading!
Another rated T comic. This one took a lot of detail work, some of which was unfortunately blocked out by text, but I think the final result paid off.

This is the first comic in the first 8-comic-long story arc (of 3 8-comic-long story arcs) that I have written!
