I know this is more of a title page than a legitimate update but thought I'd update today with it anyway as kind of a "I'm alive!" kind of thing. Been having awful art block and depression so that's why pages have been slow going.
You'll also see that there's no more comment section! I got rid of it after several readers suggested I do. I'll be making an FAQ section which will hopefully dispel some confusion.

Yaoi!
Have to admit, I was hooked by what, I thought was Yaoi. Not sure if I agree that it's now Yuri, assuming that only Kadeem knew the truth about Oz, it's turned pretty hetero. But, I have to wander if the artist anticipated this with the first few panels. I re-read them, and there are no hints as far as clothing and body structure. There are several exposed clavicles and open necklines, thin shirts and un-naturally broad shoulders. Oh well, I like the story, regardless, so I'll just go with the flow.

Wil is a lady pretending to be a dude, Oz is a man. That is it, I am keeping it simple in my head haha.
I always found all the different gender/sexuality labels confusing. If someone says: I am a dude. Then they are a dude. That's that.
I'm not a fan of all the sexual/gender labels and I can understand how people get confused. I think people should be just accepted for whomever they want to be and not have to put a fancy name tag on their breasts to feel legitimate.
I love that these ladies and dudes have these identities though, good job on putting these current social issues into comic format. C:

A quick explanation
@Guest: According to my women and gender studies prof. It is a person who identifies with the biological gender they were born with. I.E. A person born in a female body who identifies herself as female as opposed to a person born in a female body who identifies himself as a male. (PS I realize I'm probably oversimplifying this. Please go easy on me. It's a complex subject to try and explain.)

LE GASP!!!
Just caught up after a few weeks of crappy internet connection. I think my brain just exploded from too many realizations at once. Oz was Adela, Will has boobs! So many things make sense now!!!! Oz's scars, the shaving thing, the way Will freaked out when Kadeen grabbed his shirt. I think I need to lie down before my brain explodes again from awesomeness.
