I'll miss it, but I look forward to seeing it as a book CB
Woah, can't wait for the next pages. I pretty much adore the setting and the characters so far, especially little Fay here. xD

I think you've done wonderful so far and you can only go further. I am looking forward to getting #2 in my hands <3
Well I have some important news for you guys, which is that the online version of this comic will not be continuing.

I said a while back that I'd keep you informed over my decision on this comic, so here is a blog post I wrote about it: http://thatnattherat.tumblr.com/post/18202700164/those-of-no-class-news

The TL;DR version is that the more I thought about it, the more breaking it up into these small chapters was completely breaking the flow of the story. It's meant to be read as a complete work, not in little bits - kind of like every long story really, they get to shine the most when they are viewed as the long story they are instead of a series of short stories pinned together.

So I'm not doing that anymore. I'm not doing chapters and I'm not doing it as a webcomic. I'm completing it as a book if I can, though for obvious reasons I don't want to promise that.

I'm really sorry to everyone on here, thank you so much for your comments over all this time, they were wonderful! I'll leave this version of the comic up as a little archive, maybe something nice to look at every now and again. Thanks for sticking with me, and if I manage the book, you'll be the first to know!

What is an artist if they don't try new things? Your style is amazing, and so unique CCB

maybe because the style is so painterly, I don't think the usual rule on boundaries applies.

I think you should do your comic however you want to. While it's good to listen to the input of others, you shouldn't do everything they advise to the extent that you're not even pleased with your work anymore. That's no good at all. :c

And if you don't mind me saying, I actually like the bleeds a lot. To me it makes the pages look a lot more interesting and colorful. XD

i like the way you normally do it! seriously who cares what makes it professional or not. do what you're comfortable with. if you do what everyone else says to do it'll like .. not be your comic anymore or something :( idk dude. i love this comic though

While it is good to listen to professionals if something works for you and looks good, go with it, Indie comics are after all known for their uniqueness. And I think your pages look great.

These last few pages are absolutely beautiful, I'm forever in love with that natural feel and texture <3
I'm sad to hear that you're thinking about stopping, but I totally understand if you want to stop making it. In my own experiences on this kind of thing, it can be really hard to let go of something you've been creating for a long time, but if its just not working for you and causing more stress then happiness, you have to be honest with yourself about that and not try to continue something thats just not clicking with you... Otherwise things just get worse all round :S
Taking some time to think about it seems like a good idea, I'm looking forward to the rest of the finished pages ^_^

@nattherat: Oh :-( well in that case, I wouldn't mind reading the story if you can't continue the comic. Your art is so lovely!! It's rare to see that on SJ. You have similar qualities to another of my favorites, http://invisiblecities.comicgenesis.com/
