Now, considered a traitor, he is imprisoned, but is soon broken out by a star warrior named Burning Leo. @Redkirby: The last time we saw Biospark, he was flying off into the distance after Steve punched him. What happens next is up to fan speculation!
(which is a fancy way of saying I don't know, lol)

@Warpstar: Honestly, the most you missed would have been long hiatuses. There were times when I considered posting the chapters in bulk instead of daily. Experiencing a completed or near completed project can have it's upsides; you get to experience the whole thing all at once instead of experiencing some, waiting a while, forgetting about it, then being re-reminded of it to experience just a little bit more before waiting again. It's like watching an entire series on Netflix after it ends, which mostly how I watch TV now.

@1997Cjones: Thank YOU for staying! I'll miss making this comic, but I planned for it to be this long from the beginning and I would like to move on to other projects. Still, it's been a part of my life for a while, so it's bittersweet.

@Ultima527: Ugh, I came late and the story was near finished, so I nevver got to fully experience this stuff. All the comics I know are ending!

But good story line and good plot twists.

@Ultima527: Well, it's been a great read. Thank you for putting this webcomic out on the internet. I'm glad that you got enjoyment out of us getting enjoyment out of your comic.

Also, whatever DID happen to Biospark?
@Redkirby: Yeah, makes me sad I came in late.

Looks like my request will be attended to!
Well I have to say, this is definitely one of my favorite Kirby comics on smackjeeves. It's been a great read.

It feels like a lot of Kirby comics are ending. Kirby and The Dee Army ended about a month ago, Kirby Adventure is on its last segment, and this comic only has epilogue to go before it ends.

@Cherry the Puffball: yeah, but why is he melting now that it's gone? The SPIFF wasn't damaged
.....
I mean, yes! My comic DOES make sense!
The power of the star rod was so strong it was like... Holding an actual star. Which are pretty hot, according to science.

@Ultima527: Ha!
@Redkirby: He's with everyone who's running away, right? I think he is. If he's not, he is.
@Warpstar: More like time to break the special effects.
Whatever happened to Gim?
Time to break the special effects budget...

Hey guys, I know I haven't been very active in the comments section lately (and whenever I was, I couldn't think of what to say and ended up joking at very bad times...), but I just wanted to say thank you for reading this comic!
When I first started Chilly's Dreamland, I was just an angry 17 year old with an unpopular ms paint comic who made a snap decision to jump on the sprite comic bandwagon. Don't get me wrong; I wanted to make it. It combined some ideas my brother and I had a long time ago with some inspiration from other sprite comics, and I was genuinely curious about working with an existing game series (not to mention one of my favorites). But there were long hiatuses that were due to either school, work, a lack of motivation, and every combination of the three. There were times that I wanted to throw my hands up in the air in a fit of rage and abandon this comic altogether. If I had made it according to schedule, it would have taken two years to complete; instead, it took five. My first comic was extremely easy to make (and it showed...), but for CD I didn't incorporate the same methods and that made it more tedious and frustrating. In addition, while I did want this to have a darker tone that most Kirby-related story lines, the emotional dialogue and plot-lines made the whole thing stressful to make. I think I imposed much more of my personal stress onto this comic than I ever intended.
Why am I telling you all of this?
To thank you.
Even the most enjoyable and worthwhile projects can be a pain to make. Whenever I saw that a page had new comments, it made me really happy even before I read said comments. I never expected the comic to get this many fans; even though it's far from viral, the fact that 84 (as of this comment) real people took the time to read this, and were so pleased with it that they added it to their favorites...it's overwhelming!
Whenever I was ready to give up, I thought about how disappointed everyone would be if the comic was suddenly discontinued. Knowing that I was making real people happy kept me going.
You guys made this happen. You are the reason Chilly's Dreamland is now a complete comic.
Your comments and favorites were a great encouragement to me. At first, I felt like I was just pandering to Kirby fans, but based on the content of your comments, it's clear that you were all really invested in the story and the characters, and weren't just liking this because it had to do with your favorite video game franchise. There's nothing wrong with that; I'm just saying I'm glad that you actually read it and got invested in the story.

Thank you so, so much for reading Chilly's Dreamland!
I can't say for sure what I'm gonna do next as far as comics go; I have a lot of ideas up in the air right now. But thank you for reading! As relieved as I am that this is over, I know I'm gonna miss it.
And that's the end of our comic! Stay tuned for the epilogue...
