Wait... I might be jumping to conclusions, but... At the beginning of the story, the principal guy asked her if she knew any of the victims... What if this amnesia of sorts is the cause? Wait—Nevermind. That's stupid because someone would have told her anyway. Disregard that statement!

group projects
I hate them because either they don't let me do ANYTHING, or they make me do EVERYTHING. And then tell me I'm dumb when it's done. It's like, well at least I did SOMETHING.

personal
The line "A life without choice is no life at all" speaks to me personally, because my mother had a life like that, and I often find myself following in her footsteps. This comic is great, very deep and psychological.

Personality.
I like Zoe. She's hard and sharp. Not all soft and mushy, like me, lol. But she does remind me of some of my friends.

speech
I think the dude is just nervous and doesn't know how to talk about this. I mean, it's awkward, and sad, too. So I don't think he talks like that on a regular basis; plus, her reaction probably isn't what he expected. She's not sobbing, or anything. That would probably be easier to deal with.

Great read!
I read your work in one go. I like your art style a lot. You are also a very good storyteller, your pace and tone are the best part of this comic. Keep up the great work, good luck in future creations.

an interpretation
It's poignant. That line, that single line gives away so much. The first thing she remembers is her friend Brandon. Brandon who, I'm guessing was the shooter last year. The conversation she has where she says it's too late, and the parts where she tries to say what really mattered, that you have something but feel nothing. That's her motivation. Z set off the chemical reaction in the bathroom right at the beginning of the script. Everything we saw was her memories getting mixed up as she lay unconscious outside the school.

I loved it.
